I sniffled as I got up from my bed, I did not want to do anything today, but I was ready to really go to Nina's house and forgive her. I will forgive, but I will not forget. Why am I doing this you may ask? Because she is my best friend, and we have had our ups and downs. We rarely fight but when we do we quickly make up. 

I rang the doorbell and Nina answered it. 

"C-cora," She stuttered.

"I'm not ready to forgive you fully, but I want to start building that trust again," I said. 

She hugged me but I didn't hug her back. 

"Come in," She said. 

"I am upset for what you did, I thought we told each other everything," I said. 

"I don't know how it happened, you remember Derek right? Well he broke up with me that night and I came home crying and Theo was their for me," She said honestly. 

"But why would you do that if you knew we were in a relationship?" I asked.

"Because I was jealous of you," She said.

"Of me?" I asked.

"Yes you, people love you and you don't even have to try," She said.

"Nina, I have been bullied for forever and you know it. Why would you want to be me?" I asked. 

"Nina, Monty isn't bullying you because he don't like you, it's because he's in love with you," She said.

"No," I said. 

"Yes, he never wanted me to tell you," She said. 

"I can't forgive him, after everything he has done," I said. 

"Can you try?" She asked.

"Probably not," I said. 

"It's worth a try to talk to him," She said.

"Nina, I can't." I said. 

"Well if you ever decide to change your mind, you know where to find him." She said looking down at her shoes. I can tell she was very very sorry for what she did, but right now I am trying to forgive her. 

"I have to go, I'll see you Monday at school." I said turning away getting ready to walk. 

"Talk to him," Nina said. 

"I will," I said. 

I'm so confused about everything, my life, where I'm going to end up. What college am I even going to? How am I going to be on my own when I can't face anything? Nina was right, I have to face my tormentor. 

I knocked on Monty's door surprisingly. I knocked a few times until he answered. 

"Cora?" He said. 

"Yes," I said.

"W-what are you doing?" He stuttered.

"I need to talk to you," I said. 

"I thought you were here for Nina, not me." He said. 

"I am here for both of you." I said rolling my eyes. 

I sat on his bed, Monty is one of those boys that keeps his room clean. Like what kind of guy does that? My dads room is kinda messy, but kind of not. Anyways, I stared around the room until he got my attention. 

"So, what are you here for?" He asked while writing some stuff at his desk.

"Why do you hate me?"I asked. "Or do you even hate me?" 

He sighed and turned around.

"You're really asking me now?" He asked facing me.

"Yes. Monty, please tell me the truth." I demanded.

"Fine. You want the story, you're getting it. Ever since you, me, Nina and Theo hung out... I had a crush on you." He said awkwardly. "I couldn't help bullying you. You being with Theo made me mad at you. How could you go with him when I've shown I had a crush on you." 

"Monty, why didn't you said anything back then? I had a crush on you too. It seemed like after Theo and I left, all you ever did was hate me. For a long time I hated myself because I didn't know what went wrong." I said honestly.

"Guess we both have something we needed to be said." Monty said. 

"I don't know what to do anymore Monty, you and Nina hurt me in many ways." I said.

"I wont hurt you ever, Cora. I promise." Monty said.

"Don't make promises you can't keep." I said. 

"If you do choose to forgive us, we will never let you down again." He said. 

"Ill think about it," I said getting my stuff. 

"So, I'll see you at school?" He asked.

"You want to be seen with me?" I asked.

"Of course," He said. "I meant what I said about making it up to you." 

"Okay." I said. 

I went home straight to bed because I couldnt be bothered with anything anymore. I just wanted to be alone for the night.
