Chapter eighteen - Cure

Y/n pov

"What will we tell the boys?" Lucifer asks.

"We can't tell them about whatever is going on between us yet." You state. They need to trust Lucifer, or to a point.

"Why?"

"Lucifer, I need them to trust you more first." You looked at him with begging eyes, hopefully this would throw him off your ill intentions.

"Fine."

"Lucifer, I... You promised to kill me." You look away from him as you say this.

"I couldn't."

"Why didn't you. I could've killed someone, if it wasn't for Gabe, I would've killed Cas." You think of the memory it brings a small smirk to your face.

"I couldn't because I love you okay. I couldn't kill you. You're the one being that had a hope and chance to save me. You risked it all when you said yes.' Lucifer takes you're hands and pulls you closer.

"You're brave and strong and classy with extra sass. I never thought humanity was worth saving until you." He said before kissing you. You looked at him with sad eyes.

"You need to run. I mean you're free from the cage have days to get away from the Winchesters. Run while you can." Maybe you can get him to leave.

"Normally I would, or maybe try to make a trap for them, but... you sparked something in me, something new. I can't hurt them without hurting you. And I never want to hurt you."

"Why? You're Lucifer. Satan. Be mad! Smite me, push me down, hurt me, try to kill me!" You yell at him, he seems taken aback.

"Y/n, I can't just do that."

"I know you can. Leave. GO! Run! Please...?" You beg, hoping he leaves so you can finish Cains plan.

"Y/n..."

"No, I'll buy you time when they get back, as much as I can muster, but you need to go."

"Y/n. I can't." He said you couldn't help but laugh at his love. But hid it with a yell.

"Why?!" You yell not wanting him to be hunted down. It was a bad idea having him with you when you were found.

"Because I love you!" Lucifer yells pulling your wrists toward him pressing your body to his.

"For the first time in millennia, I feel loved back." He told you. You felt tears prick your eyes.

"When you're here, you're at risk constantly. You could be caged or killed or-" You point out.

"But without you there's no point in me being out." You start laughing.

"Haha, you're joking right? Your heart claimed by a mortal. Heh, the daughter of Cain in fact. Bit pathetic for Satan isn't it?"

"I don't understand..."

"I mean, "I love you Luci" Haha! You think that I could ever love you? Satan? You're pathetic. Nothing more than an angel with daddy issues." You smiled and laughed.

"Y/n... What. Your eyes." You notice your black eyes are showing, whatever secrets up.

"Forgot to kill the demon before taking off the mark?" You taunted Lucifer as he looked into your pitch black eyes.

"And now I can tell Cain about your real attraction to her. Sucks that my king will have to know about me kissing someone else." You explain thing about Crowley.

"Your king?" Of course, he's not too bright.

"Yes, Crowley and I are getting married, soon, I hope. Then we can spend forever together, maybe even see you back in that cage, Oh how I'd love to see that. You're suffering return, with this face, being the one to watch you suffer." He is visibly angry, but that doesn't matter, you love toying with him.
