CONNORS POV
*BANG* Another gunshot went off. Bethany stopped still as a statue she buried her head into my arm to cover her ears. I placed my hand on her back and began to rub it trying to soothe her.
"There here somewhere, find them rip every tree if you have to I don't want him alive, but bring me the girl alive" Jeremy spoke. "Lets hope the gunshot scares them".
We stopped breathing trying to hide ourselves. Once we heard them leave Bethany hugged me, like she never has before. I felt amazing it was a hug that I never wanted to end. "Beth" I chuckled. "Your on my wound" I said with a smile. "Oh sorry" She said laughing. Thats the first time in ages I have seen her smile.
I could tell she was getting cold because goosebumps began to appear on her legs. I wanted to give her her jeans back but they were full of blood.
Instead I bought her into my arms put mu cardigan on top of us and I lifted her head so she was eye level. "I love you Bethany Mota" It was such a relief finally saying it. I have never loved someone so much, "I love you too Connor Franta" she replied smiling pinching my nose.
She placed her head back onto my chest and I kissed her on the forehead and we fell asleep in each others arms.
