Wide Awake& Letting Go

CONNORS POV

I opened my eyes and the room was dark with little dim light coming from the corner. I them set my gaze on the most beautiful human ever. Bethany Mota. I smiled instantly, my lip beginning to throb due to the cut. I pulled Beth to me and wrapped my arms around her.

Her hair was in mess curls and I loved burying my face into them. She placed herself on the bed and I pulled her body towards me. I buried my head into her neck and she began to giggle. I then realised the reality. I pulled away and she sat up. "What's wrong?" she questioned. I took her hands in mine and sighed not looking at her in the eye. Beth, all I have done is hurt you, I haven't even taken you out on a proper date, a race event is very romantic. In order to protect you I have to let you go, as long as they know I am with you they will use you against me Beth.

"But Con we can work this out I-" No Beth, I love you so much and will never stop but this is better for both of us. We can't see each other anymore, we can be together after all the problems" She got up tears clouding her eyes and stormed out. She stopped hovering at the door, she looked back and opened her mouth.

"If you ever think I would get back with you then you should re think you decision, I have no intention to be with someone who is a coward and wont give everything in to the relationship, goodbye Connor" She walked away, wiping away her tears. That was the hardest thing I have ever had to do.
