To my dismay, I open my eyes and all I see is darkness. Pained by my swollen hands that are tightly tied with a thick rope, I frown while sitting on a small wooden chair. Beginning to feel a rough fabric wrapped around my eyes and mouth, I gasp when I came to a realization--I've been seized or should I say abducted?

The temperature is hot and the air is humid. I'm not sure if I'm inside a room because I hear the noise of an engine and waves crashing around me like I'm at open waters or sea. I move my feet but it's also constrained on the chair. Struggling to move out, I groan during the time that I give my full force in pushing and pulling my hands out of the rope. I feel a bit nauseous now because the chair is moving as if I'm being rocked like a baby.

A peal of scornful laughter nears me, "As always, you're too obtuse, Ash! Or what should I call you? Mrs. Green, eh?"

"Who are you?! Why did you take me?" I shout after she takes off the handkerchief that covers my mouth. My blood is boiling in anger yet I can't do anything. I feel hopeless, no, I have to focus. I have to do something to get out of here.

"Well.. See for yourself and you'll find out the answer." She removes my blindfold.

My mouth flies open as I stare at the face of my kidnapper. She points a gun with a silencer in front of me. I try my best not to shake but it's no use, my body involuntarily trembles in fear. No way, we've made a huge mistake.

I look around me and we're on a yacht that's situated in the middle of the sea. The crescent moon peeks through the gray clouds. It's already evening, meaning I've slept for hours here.

"You're always bullying me, you deride me all the time. Wherever I am, your voice is there. Is it because you have Dad back? He loves me. He does not love you!" She tightens the grip on her gun while she narrows her eyes to target my head.

I raise my voice out of confusion, "Are you delusional? Stop talking nonsense! You're the one browbeating me here. You even abducted me."

"No, this is self-defense. I'm protecting myself before you kill me. You're already filthy rich! You also have Dad. Why don't you just leave me alone, gold digger bitch?"

"You're crazy! Let me out of here!"

"Crazy?! You're the lunatic here, not me! You want to kill me! I'm not doing anything to you. Go to hell! Now!" She takes a few steps forward then positions the gun on my forehead.

Oh God. Help!

*Tony's POV*

Trixie is bawling uncontrollably at the passenger seat of my black Lamborghini sports car. She keeps on blaming herself for what happened to Ash. She's partly responsible but it's more of my fault. If only I've made a thorough investigation, it should've not ended up like this.

"I'm so sorry, Tony." Trixie apologizes for the nth time. I've withdrawn the case we filed against her so she can get out and help me save Ash.

I breathe deeply, "Stop apologizing. It's mostly my fault anyway." I stay focus on driving while I hand her the box of tissue.

She gets one tissue, wipes her tears and then sneezes to it, "She has paranoid schizophrenia. I can't let her go to jail because the last time she was confined inside a mental facility, she committed suicide. She literally died and came back to life. It was a relief that the doctor was able to revive her. We almost lost her. I was afraid that it may happen again if she gets jailed that's why I claimed her wrongdoings as mine. She's a good person, it's just that when she was diagnosed with schizophrenia ten years ago, everything about her changed. She's always having hallucinations of dad leaving us for Ash and Grace. She's always hearing Ash mocking her. I was hopeful that she'll go back to the way she was before. I admit that I've made a grave mistake to Ash and it's immutable." Trixie starts to cry again.

I feel her pain and it might be hard for her to bear the punishment of the crimes she didn't commit. I tap her back while I drive to comfort her.

"I understand, Trix. For now, let's focus on finding Ash. If you explain this to Ash, she'll definitely empathize with you and forgive you for doing what you think is needed to be done. Do you have any idea where she brought Ash?" The police are locating her yet I want to also find her myself.

"Dad accompanies her most of his free time. I'll call to ask him." Trixie replies. She scrolls on her phone and made the call.

Thankfully, their dad answers the call immediately.

After the call ended, she tilts her head to my side, "Dad said that recently, she's either surfing on the beach or sailing on her yacht. Let's start with that. Please turn left on the next street." She points her finger to show me the sign of a beach, "She usually goes there. Dad is also on his way."

I heed to her instruction. We reach our destination. I run towards the bay area to see that nobody's surfing this late at night. There are three yachts in the middle of the sea. Trixie calls me and she's already on a yacht, shouting, "Come on! Let's go."

While sailing, a long line of curse words from inside my head when I get to view a bolt out of the blue scene, "Trixie, they're on that yacht!" I point to our right and she maneuvers the yacht immediately.

"Holy shit!" Trixie blurts out after discovering what I just saw.

Their Dad Ron is on another yacht that's far behind us, he shouts, "Did you see them?"

"Help!" Ash cries. Her face paints anxiety while a gun is pointed at her head.
