*Tony's POV*
I wake with a dreadful sight that is right in front of me- Ash is sitting on the floor, looking devastated with tears falling continuously on her cheeks. Oh no, what's happening? Is she hurt?
Confused, I look around, Trixie is shouting at me, calling me an asshole. Then, I feel something move beside me, no, someone move. What the heck! Joan?!
Joan pulls the blanket we're sharing, showing my nude self, fuck, I'm doomed. Overwhelmed with the situation, I try to compose myself, I've got to tell Ash the truth, explain to her the situation.
*Start of flashback*
8:30 PM
I was about to sleep when I hear a knock on the door. Ha! It must be Ash! She misses me that fast, she can't even stand not sleeping beside me. I grin from ear to ear.
So excited to see her, I run towards the door. When I open it, it's the witch "Joan" And not the love of my life, standing in front of me.
She says, "I've got something to show you." Then storms inside the room, without even asking if it's okay or not. She's really something.
"You can just tell me outside. Why do you have to enter?" I face her, turning my back towards the open door.
"What a nice gentleman you are." Joan rolls her eyes, "Anyway, this is so urgent." She browses on her phone then shows me a photo.
It was Ash, laughing while Harry's arms are around her shoulder.
Then another photo of Harry facing her looks like they're kissing. I can't tell because it's his back towards the camera.
My jaw clenched, shoulders stiffen as I ball my hands into fists.
This man is taking advantage of my girl.
I have to get her.
"She seems to be enjoying his company rather than stay in this room with you." Joan teases me. She snakes her arms into mine, "I can stay with you."
"I don't think so. I have to go and protect her." Taking my arm away, I was about to turn around and leave our room but I hear another woman's voice at my back saying, "Not so fast." She injects something on my neck, then everything seems blurry, and before I lost consciousness, I was able to catch a glimpse of a small tattoo on the far side of the woman's wrist, it looks like a wing? An ear? Or is it half of a heart? Not sure because it's unclear.
Joan's evil laughter is the last thing I heard before I was pulled into a deep slumber.
*End of flashback*
I try to explain, talk some sense into her that this might be a trap, a set-up of some sort, but it appears that she's not listening, like she's inside her small world, confined in her own bubble. It's like talking to a wall. I want to comfort her, tell her how much I love her but she said that my hands are filthy. I'm so hurt by that statement alone.
She does not trust me enough to believe me?
Does she think I can betray her like this?
No, she's just hurt.
I never imagine myself begging a woman to stay, but it's so easy with Ash. Throwing away my pride because my fear that our relationship is over is far greater than any reason, I plead for her to listen to me, to not leave me until tears drown my hope that she'll ever hear my side. They hurriedly went outside, slamming the door but I still followed them. Then, a man hugs both Ash and Trixie, I saw him patting her back and he looks straight at me.
