Chapter 10 - Finally

*Roman's P.O.V.*

It was the next week and RAW finally ended when I decided to put my plan in action. I just hoped it would actually work. I invited myself to Dean and Seth's place after the show.

"Soooo .... what's the plan for tonight ?"  I asked them.

"Sleep and drink !"  Dean said.

"I guess I'll be the one to carry you to bed again huh ?"  Seth said.

"That was only one time !"  Dean protested.

"You know guys, I got something to say cause it's been killing me for weeks. But first I wanna let you guys know that I've been dating Layla for 2 years now. I'm the happiest I've ever been and she's happy too. She just got back from overseas a few weeks ago and I think I'm going to ask her to marry me."  I started.

"Why didn't you ask her as soon as she got back ?"  Seth asked.

"Because I wanted to make sure it was real. If she came back after 2 months and still felt the same way she did before she left, then I would know she's the one. Here we are, and she's the one."  I said answering his question.

"How do you know when to ask something like that ?"  Dean questioned.

"It just kinda comes, you know ? If I wait until it's too late, someone might take her away, or she might lose feelings for me. Then everything we built up will be torn down forever."  I said.

"But didn't you wait like forever to ask her out ?"  Seth brought up.

"It was only a month ! I was nervous okay !? She was way out of my league and I had just met her ! You know she had to pick between me and someone else ? Everyone wanted her, but she took a chance on the new guy. I was the new guy by the way."

*Seth's P.O.V.*

"So, back to what I was going to say, you guys for the past few weeks-"

"You have to go."  I said cutting Roman off.

"What ? The night just started ! Don't you wanna hear what I have to say ?"  he asked.

"Maybe tomorrow."  I said shutting the door in his face.

Roman left, and my heart raced just thinking about what to say. I didn't know what to say. I looked back and Dean was gone. He soon came out the bathroom in his boxers ready for bed.

"Why don't you change and come lay down. I know your tired after our match."  he insisted.

I got undressed in the bathroom and when I came out, Dean was in the bed. Now my heart was really racing. I slowly got under the covers as he dimmed the lights low.

"Dean I have to tell you something."  I said as we both laid looking at the ceiling.

"I have to tell you something too."  Dean said.

"But I'm not sure how you're going to react to it."

"Oh yeah ? Try me."

I closed my eyes tight and just let it flow right out of me.

"I like you, a lot, and not just as a friend or a tag partner, more than that."

There was just silence. I thought I messed up. Everything bad ran through my head and I couldn't find anything good.

"I like you too."  he finally said.

My heart finally slowed down and I had the biggest smile on my face. I leaned over gave him a kiss on the cheek. He soon gave me one on my forehead and told me goodnight. Short, simple and sweet, I was just happy he felt the same way.
