Chapter 3 - The Truth Is Revealed

*Seth's P.O.V.*

"I'm getting tired of this. I hate lying to Roman. Maybe I should just come out to Roman." I told Summer as we ate ice cream at her place.

"You don't like spending time with me !? I'm hurt Seth, I'm really hurt." she said referring to our fake relationship.

"I love spending time with you ! I just don't think I should keep him in the dark. He's my best guy friend. He might not like it, but I'll just have to take a chance."

"I say go for it. And if he doesn't care, he can help you get that date with Ambrose. I would help, but I don't want a fork in my leg or something." she said flipping her hair.

*Roman's P.O.V.*

I was just about to step foot in my hotel room until my phone ranged.

"Hey Seth."

"Are you busy ?"

"No, I just stepped foot in my new room at the plaza. Why what's up ?"

"Nothing, I'm coming over."

I wondered why he was coming over, and why he was so sudden. I waited and waited until he finally came.

"Take a seat man. So why are you here ? Not that I don't want you here, just, why ?" I asked hoping to get to the point.

"No thanks, I'll stand. I won't be long. I just wanted to talk to you about what happened a few weeks ago." he said.

I didn't know what he was talking about. I thought of everything we did over the past month, but nothing came to mind.

*Seth's P.O.V.*

"Remember that day we were in the locker room with Dean ? Well I have to admit that I-I used your toothbrush before I we had the match !" I blurted out.

As I tried finding the courage to tell him the truth, he washed his mouth out with Listerine.

"I like, I like country music !" I blurted out again. "Listening to Tim McGraw makes me speed on the highway."

He was the only country singer I knew of, but I didn't know any of his songs. I spent about an hour standing beside him confessing false statements as he flipped through the tv channels carelessly.

"If this is another confession about the Backstreet Boys, I don't want to know." he said stopping me.

"I'm trying to tell you."

"Then get to the point." he said adding bass in his voice.

"I am, but-"

"Just say it !"

"I'm trying but I can't !"

"You can't what !?"

From the yelling and the anger he was releasing, I got overwhelmed and I gave him a kiss right on the lips. When I stopped, he just looked at me with his mouth opened.

"You ! Me ! I was right ! I knew it ! You are gay !" he said backing up and falling over the couch.

"That's what I've been trying to tell you this whole time." I said.

"And you do ! You do like Dean !" he yelled again.

I stood there and let him contemplate everything. After a while, he finally calmed down and we had a real conversation about this.

"After that kiss you had with Summer, I really thought I was just over exaggerating. So how long have you-"

"Since I was 17. Only Summer knows. I never dated a guy, and no, I never had sex with a guy." I said answering all of his future questions.

"I don't know how Dean's gonna feel about this. He's not the gay type." he said.

"I know, but I just want to try. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't take this chance when we could actually be something." I explained.

"Look. I'm not judging you for this. I am judging you for that kiss you gave me, but I'm willing to help you out. You're my bestfriend no matter what."

"Thank you so much !" I said giving him a big hug.

"Hey Hey Hey ! I have to keep an eye on you after that kiss. Layla won't like this at all."

*Roman's P.O.V.*

I was honestly okay with Seth being out and opened with me, but I was just so worried about what Dean would do to him. He's already a psycho, so I made a small plan to help.

"You won't like this, but I think I should try and soften him up. Nothing too serious, but you know. You're like my little brother and if he attacked you or stabbed you with a fork, I'd probably knock his head off. Let me take the first few bumps just incase." he said.

"If it'll help, then yeah I'll let you do it, but why is everyone is so darn serious about him and forks ?" he asked shaking his head.

I have my college classes tomorrow from 8:30am-3:30pm so I'll be busy all day, but the next chapter is coming soon !
