Chapter 15 - Confessions to Questions

*Dean's P.O.V.*

"Dean, wake up, I can't sleep."  Seth said waking me up.

"Seth it's three in the morning. What do you want me to do ?"  I asked sitting up and wiping my eyes.

"Let's talk. Confession hour ! We just go back and forth telling each other secrets !"  he said cheerfully as he wrapped his arms around me and laid on my chest.

"You are such a nerd okay ? Umm, I like guys."  I said not caring.

"Something I don't know. Come on something interesting ! I'll start. I never had a girlfriend or a boyfriend before." 

"I thought it had to be something we didn't already know."  I laughed as he punched me.

"I use to have a crush on Chris Jericho when he first came to WWE."  he said.

"Seriously ? Well I use to like John Cena. Back then, not now."  I admitted.

"I died my hair cause Summer convinced me it was cute. She was right."  he said.

"I use to have hair on my chest, but it made me look like a freaking white gorilla. I like to keep it stubby sometimes."  I said laughing.

"I use to watch porn."

"Dude. No."  I said.

"What ? I stopped when we started dating."

"But just, why ?"  I asked.

"It was never gay porn though, only straight porn. It's more classy."  he told me.

"Did you know I smoke ?"  I asked him.

"What ? No you don't ! Why come I haven't seen you smoke then ?"  he said not believing me.

"I guess I stopped when we started hanging out. I only did it to smash my problems. When I'm with you, all my problems go away."  I said giving him a small kiss.

"Don't feel bad. I tried crack cocaine a few times."  he said as I looked at him in silence. "I'm kidding ! I'm too scared to try that stuff !"  he finally said.

I pulled him on top of me more and I held him tight.

"Seth, what are you really like ?"  I asked.

"What do you mean ?"

"What were you like before we met ? Were you always this funny, awesome likeable guy ?"  I asked. "Apparently yesterday you became a sex addict, so I know something changed since back then."

"I really haven't changed. I mean, I went from girl crushes to guy crushes. Other than that, I'm still the same dorky kid I was in elementary school, except now I have friends."

"What do you mean ?"  I asked.

"I was the most hated kid in 1st grade. I was never mean to anyone, I never broke rules or anything. All the kids just hated me. That followed me up to middle school. I use to get beat up at recess by everyone."  he told me.

Hearing his childhood story about school actually made me feel sad for him. This amazing and talented guy was hated for nothing. I just couldn't believe it.

"I think it was because I was always such a huge nerd, I acted like I could control water, fire and the ground. Now we have Avatar and no one knows I invented it."

"Really ? You invented Avatar ? You invented the weird bending stuff ?"  I said rolling my eyes.

"It's true ! Right in my backyard ! They threw in air which I thought was stupid, but you know."  he said laughing. "So what were you like ?"

"Hmmmm. I was a jerk. Became the biggest ass in town by the time I was 19. Always having unprotected sex. I didn't care about anyone. I didn't have anyone there for me. The usual asswipe story."  I told him.

"Wait, sex with guys or girls ?"  he asked.

"Girls. I never knew I would turn out like this. When I did, I didn't tell anyone. You just get that feeling. Knowing people would treat you different and shoot you down, plus they'd probably kick my ass and run me out of town."  I said.

"How did you hide it all this time ?"  he asked me.

"I honestly don't know. I guess you don't think about getting close to a guy when you're trying to kill eachother, literally."

"So where do I come in ?"  he asked.

"You came in when I signed my FCW contract. I honestly didn't think anything of you. Once I got into the fold of legit TV matches and not death trap barbed wire matches, that's when I started getting back into guys. I never quit, I just shut it down somehow. I still never told anyone. Women were always attracted to me so I just went with the flow you know. I didn't want my dream taken away from me before it started, and now that I'm here, and one of the most valuable people on the roster, I don't have anything to worry about really."  I said.

*Seth's P.O.V.*

After hearing Dean's story, I leaned over to turn the lamp on and I laid back on his chest. He soon asked me the same question.

"Since I was 17 I always knew I was gay. I never told anyone either. By this time I had a goal, the same as you. The only difference was I wasn't as strong as you. I had to let all my inner gayness out. If you look up Tyler Black Cyberfights, you'll understand."

"Sounds like a cheap porn title."  he said laughing.

"It basically was. When I signed my contract, I forgot all about guys in the ring but not outside. I'm still not out and all, only to you Roman and Summer. And now Dolph thanks to Summer."  I said angrily.

"It's completely cool. I'm not out there either. I don't know why, I'm just not."  Dean said comforting me.

"Do you think we should we come out together ?"  I asked after a long pause.

"That's entirely up to you. I don't have a problem with it."  he answered.

"Aren't you worried about work ? I know it's best to come forward with something like this, but I don't know. You know how WWE is with gay people. They only had one openly gay guy. It was a gimmick, but still. What if they find out by something crazy like pictures or something ? And what if they cut our TV time ?"  I asked.

"They wont do that. We're part of The Shield. We're raking in so much money everytime we wake up. If you want to, you can tell the whole world we're dating. We'll still be together and that's all that matters."

I gave him a kiss to end our talk and I turned off the lamp. I thought about coming out to everyone. Should I do it ? What effect will it have on our careers ? I told myself not to worry and I'll figure it out when it happens.
