Chapter 38 - Realization

*Roman's P.O.V.*

"Baby ! Come here !" Layla screamed at me. "You wanna help bathe momma down ?"

"Not now baby, I have to check up on Seth. I haven't heard from him since that one day. That was weeks ago." I told her.

"Hey, it's me. We need to talk. Text me asap !" I sent.

"Okay, daddy needs a bath too !" I said running to the bathroom.

"Then get in here and help me find the soap bar !" she said.

My phone vibrated and it was Seth telling me to come over. I rushed out the house and drove to his hotel. I know I left my fiance naked in the tub, but it was for a good reason !

{Seth's Hotel}

"Thanks for responding man, it's been forever !" I said as he let me in.

"What do we have to talk about ?"

"Oh, getting straight to it. Well about what happened between the six of us, have you tried talking to Dean ?" I asked.

"Why ? I left him. He just lost our touch I guess."

"How's Summer doing ?" I asked.

"She wants to kill us with a passion."

"Okay, so what have you two been doing since you two broke up ?"

"I don't about him, but me, I've been with Dolph." he answered.

"But Seth. Why are you messing around with him ! He caused all of this !" I started yelling.

"Actually, I caused all of this. And I'm only messing around with him because he's my boyfriend." he said calmly.

"Dude ! What the fuck !? Do you know what you're doing to Dean !? You can't do this to him ! Don't do this to me !" I cried pouncing around.

"Roman, what do you have with me ?" he asked.

"I don't know !"

"You know I think, I think you do like me !" he said.

"That's not it !"

"You don't like me, but when I'm with someone else you get pissed ? What's that all about Roman !?"

"It's complicated ! I just- everything I see you, you just bright up my day. You're like my little brother, I wanna protect you. But at the same time, I don't want anyone else to have you." I admitted.

"I'm a big boy Rome. Obviously we're never gonna be together, but I'm completely fine at this point. I know what I'm doing in my life."

"No you don't. If you did you wouldn't be with Dolph, you'd be with the guy that's been with you since the beginning." I said walking out the door.

*Seth's P.O.V.*

"Roman sure is bipolar." I thought. But he was right. Dean's been with me through everything at this point. The only thing Dolph was good at was sex. I messed things up worse than what I thought.

"Seth, I'm back. And we got some things to talk about." I heard Dolph say as he came back.

"I got something to say first. You were awesome this whole time, and the sex was good too, but I'm breaking up with you." I said packing my bags.

"Wait, what ? Who even said we were-"

"It's not you, it's me. I realized some things that I need to set straight." I said.

"But we were never going out-"

"It's okay to accept rejection. You're still cute though !"

"I was gonna tell you-"

"Dolph, just be quiet and accept it ! I have to leave you now."

"What am I gonna-"

"I'll talk to Summer and try and get you two back to at least the friend zone." I said leaving.

I know he'll miss me, but I had to do what's best for me.

*Dolph's P.O.V.*

That little shit ! We were never together ! And he breaks up with me !? I'll miss his ass and that's about it. He needed to redo his roots anyway.
