GRACIE OPENED HER BLUE OCEAN EYES only to be met with the sight of burnt bodies scattered lazily around the scarred camp.

The girl fell to her knees and screamed heartbroken, her small fists hit the blazen floor until they were bloody.

Once composed Gracie got to her feet and grabbed her dagger from the head of the grounder who was now burnt to crisp.

Her feet slowly made her way to the exit of the camp as she looked around once more.

Gracie didn't feel like who she was. Not anymore, she felt so much pain. It was unbearable.

She wiped her the final tears as it fell from her cheeks. Her eyes dulled and her face hardened as she gripped her dagger and walked away. Leaving herself behind.

After all the first casualty of war innocence.
