GRACIE SQUEALED AS HER BLUE OCEAN EYES clashed with the brown ones of none other than her friend Lincoln.

"Linky!"

Said grounder blushed sheepishly at the embarrassing nickname, the fact that the other teens were snickering under their breath did not help his case at all.

Of course Gracie being Gracie was oblivious to it all and ran past her mother into the awaiting arms of the blushing grounder.

She nuzzled her self into his hard chest and let out a small giggle as she felt him tickle her sides softly.

Unaware to the Blake daughter her father was hiding in the bushes watching his daughter interact with the grounder, his brown eyes flaming with anger and his finger itching to the trigger on the gun that was conveniently placed in his hand.

Clarke raised an eyebrow at the hugging duo and turned to Octavia with an accusing glare on her pale face "So that's how you set this up. You helped him escape, didn't you?"

Octavia's ferocious glare matched Clarke's as her eyes never left the angered mother "I trust him, Clarke. So does Gracie"

Clarke ran her fingers through her tangled blonde hair her eyes darting to her daughter and the grounder before landing on the stubborn Blake "There's a lot of that going around."

Gracie jumped slightly in the arms of the grounder, her eyes holding excitement "Look Linky! Real life horses"

Lincoln narrowed his eyes at the weapons the other grounders were holding he held the jumpy Gracie tighter and sent an apologetic glance to her mother "I was told there wouldn't be any weapons"

Clarke nodded at the grounder softly before grabbing Gracie from his hands and kissing her forehead lightly "Listen bug, Mama is going to bring you to some people okay? You're going to have to be on your best behaviour?"

Gracie giggled and nodded excitedly her eyes still concentrated on the horses, her mother smiled softly at her daughters excitement and held her tightly as she walked to the leader of the grounders.

The grounder narrowed her eyes at the mother and daughter duo "Your name is Clarke?"
Clarke swallowed nervously and gave the grounder a smile which quickly faded upon seeing the grounders stoic face "Yes. And this little one is Gracie"

Anya smiled slightly at the blonde chid "I'm Anya." Gracie, who was finally bored of the horses and decided to focus her attention on the conversation that was taking place, smiled brightly at the female grounder "That's a pretty name!"
