A 14 YEAR OLD ISABELLA HUMMED HAPPILY AS SHE WAS WALKING BACK to her living quarters from her recent date with her beloved boyfriend Bellamy Blake, when her ears picked up on the sound of sniffing.

Following the sound, Isabella found herself in a dark passageway of the ark, her eyes moved around constantly afraid of the shady place "God Izzy, your an actual idiot, this is how every dumb white girl dies in like every horror movie ever!"

Ignoring her bad feeling and own self talk, Isabella continued down the passageway, until her eyes landed on the cause of the sounds she had been hearing.

John Murphy.

Isabella's ocean eyes widened and she shifted on her small feet uncomfortably, inwardly cursing herself.

Hearing sounds John Murphy lifted his head from the crouched position he was previously, his red puffy eyes landed on the blonde-haired Kane and he sneered at the girl "Come to laugh at me Kane?"

Isabella scoffed playfully and sat down next to the boy "Jeez Johnny not everything is about you!"

Upon seeing the unamused impression she sighed and hesitantly grabbed the boys calloused hands "I don't know what happened Johnny but I'm sorry"

And as much as Murphy wanted to believe the girl, he pushed his feelings aside and scoffed at the girl "Sorry? It's my mother she's sick, but you privileged bitch probably don't
have a clue what that feels like!"

The ocean eyed girl let out a small hum of agreement causing the crying boy's head to snap toward her "Your right Johnny what would I, a privileged bitch know of, after all I'm just a motherless child, who's mother just happened to be a whore, oh don't forget my daddy issues. Poor old ignorant me."

Silence filled the two in the passageway before Murphy did something uncharacteristic and pulled the unsuspecting Kane into a hug "I'm sorry for being rude, 'Sabella"

Isabella smiled and wrapped her arms around the boy and hugged him back tightly, her face buried in the crook of his neck "I'm sorry about your mother, Johnny"

And together they didn't just hug each other so tight that they temporarily fixed all their broken pieces, no, that day two souls became one and a friendship was formed
