I've been avoiding my room since getting inside, sticking to the couch where I'm safe from the risk of seeing Calum. I'm not too sure but I think around 10 is when he's usually gone for the night - at least that's how it's been for the past few weeks, so I decide to chance it. I really shouldn't feel as nervous as I do. I'm going to my goddamn bedroom for god's sake.

With a small pep talk and a couple deep breaths, I push my door open and switch the light on. I only make it all but two feet into the room before Calum's music starts playing from his room. Ignoring it, I get changed into my sleepwear and rid myself of my light makeup. By the time I'm done the musics gone so loud I know he's bound to get in trouble from one of our parents any second now.

So, with a sigh, I walk over to my curtain, pulling it open along with the window and shout, "Calum, you're going to get-" I'm cut off with the sight in front of me. My eyes just about pop out of their sockets. "Calum!" I squeak, covering my eyes - maybe not as quick as I could have.

"Now we're even! Talk to me!" he shouts over the loud music.

"Will you turn the music down!" I use one hand to cover my view of any personal bits but still have a clear view of Calum's bare chest and torso and I'm not so sure it makes a difference.

"Not until you stop being mean, you're supposed to be the nicest person ever remember!?"

Which irritates me because I feel like my feelings are pretty justified.

"Calum, I already told you it's not about you seeing me-" and now I'm cut off with Calum's mom barging into his room already shouting about the music until she sees him butt naked and lets out a yelp of her own.

"Mum!" Calum shouts miserably, grabbing his pillow off the bed to cover himself up.

I'm not sure if she sees me but I'm far too busy cracking up at the red faced boy shooing his mom away and trying to keep his bits covered which leaves me with a nice view of his backside that I definitely was not complaining about.

"Nice ass," I call out with a giggle just as his mom is out the door.

He sends me a mock-glare because this isn't funny and locks the door.

"It's pretty funny," I hum, subconsciously sitting on my window seat.

"Is not! My mum just saw me naked!" And I laugh again with flashes of both their faces when it happened.

"Well whose fault is that? You were the one standing in the middle of your room butt-naked with the door unlocked."

"I didn't know they were back!" he groans.

"Yet you're still naked."

"Yeah, and i'm going to stay naked until I'm sure you're not mad at me."

"There's no logic to that," I say matter-of-fact.

"Well I'm naked and you're talking to me, seems like my plan is working," he grins proudly.

"Your plan is not working. We're talking because you're an idiot whose mom just saw him naked." "And I already told you, I don't care that you saw me naked, I'd actually forgotten about it," I add with a shrug.

"You did?"

I nod in response.

"So you're not mad about that?"

"No Calum, I am not mad about that."

"So I'm naked for no reason?" he says sheepishly.

"No there's a reason, a stupid one, but still a reason."
