Chapter 24

Alicia's POV:

"I'm sure he likes you Kira," I spoke into the phone.

She liked Zander. I mean he was cute but Jacob beat him by infinite. His swept dark brown hair and his deep brown eyes. He was cute but I didn't like him Kira does.

"Are you sure?" She asked through the phone.

"Positive. I think you should talk to him," I said.

"Okay, I will. Thanks Ali," I could tell she was smiling.

"You're welcome bye Kir," I said.

"Bye," she said before the line went dead.

Sighing I put my phone down.

"Girls," uncle Emmett said.

Every girl in the room glared at him.

"Sorry," he put his hands in the air smiling.

I rolled my eyes finding a book to read in our massive library. I picked out To Kill A Mockingbird and began to read. It felt good. Having a book in my hands and being able to forget what was going on around me. Time went by until my eyes began to feel heavy and I went to bed.

7:00am

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

My alarm clock rang through my ears. I shut the alarm off before getting out of bed. I took a shower before picking a white tank top and a cream colored knit cardigan and dark skinny jeans. I put the clothes on with my dark gray hightop converses then brushing my hair and putting it into a side fishtail braid. I put on winged eyeliner and mascara while looking in my mirror. Satisfied with my appearance I grabbed my book bag and walked into the kitchen.

"Hey guys," I greeted everyone.

"Hey," they smiled.

"Morning beautiful," Jake smiled.

I blushed, "goodmorning Jake."

I grabbed a cereal bar and a small glass of animal blood. Sometimes I wish I was normal. I ate the cereal bar and gulped down the blood sighing. I vamp sped up to my room again brushing my teeth before coming back again.

"Lets go," Jake took my hand. We then left the house and drove to school.

When we got there I sat in my seat next to Mona.

"Hey Ali," Mona smiled.

"Hey Mo," I smiled back.

"Austin asked me out," she grinned.

"Really? That's amazing. Wait. You said yes right?" I said.

"Of course. I've been waiting for this," she said.

"Eyes to the front class," the teacher spoke. I turned to face the teacher and listened to the lecture.

Again the day went by with a blur. Until before lunch. That bitch from a few days ago was bothering me.

"Heyy Jakey," she flirted while twirling a lock of her hair.

"Hey thot," Jake smirked.

"Ugh when are you gonna realize that I'm better than this bitch," she gestured toward me.

"When are you gonna realize that I can kick your-" Jake grabbed me from hurting her.

"Anyway I'm Kayla, if you ever need a break talk to me," she smirked flipping her curls and walking away.

"Ugh!" I said irritated before walking to the cafeteria.

I sat down with my family. I scowled and picked up the slice of pizza. The taste was terrible but I didn't care.

"What happened?" Ness asked.

"Kayla," I grumbled.

"Oh yeah she tried to flirt with Seth too," Nessie said, "dumb bitch."

"Ness!" Mom scolded.

"It's true," she mumbled.

"You know I wouldn't leave you for the world," Jake kissed my cheek.

"Aww," Nessie cooed.

"I wouldn't leave you either Ness," Seth kissed her cheek.

We all finished lunch and the rest of our day ran by pretty fast. Thank god it's Friday though. Even for a half vampire it was exhausting. Me and Jake drove home and ended up spending time with each other. My head was nestled into his chest.

"I love you Jake," I smiled pecking him on the lips.

"I love you too Alicia Black," he smiled back before passionately kissing me. Having Jake in my life was amazing. Forever wasn't even enough.
