It was a professional day off school, and you, Y/B/F, Y/G/F, and Y/C were all stressed because the classes were starting to catch up to you, and you weren't even close to winter break. So, you and Y/B/F thought it would be great to have a day out of just chilling and fun. Together, you planned to go on a drive to some isolated area to have brunch, then go on a hike, have a picnic on the hike, and then just stay out somewhere with blankets and talk. You all got up early for it and packed your own bags, and al collectively agreed Y/C had to drive to each of your places to pick you up. And, of course, he picked you up first at 7:30- since you were going on a long drive.

You got into the car and he handed you a medium iced coffee and a blueberry muffin, and looks at you as you rub your eyes. He smiles at you. Even when you were tired and groggy, his smile still sent shivers down your spine.

"Good morning," you just smiled at him, closing your eyes while hugging yourself in your huge hoodie. Your hair was in a messy topknot and you had sweats on as your bottoms. There was zero makeup on your face, and you had eye bags from the hours of studying all week. He continued to stare at you, but because your eyes were closed, you didn't notice. It was silent and the car wasn't moving, so you turned your head, while it still rested on the seat behind you, and opened your eyes. Your hand was in a fist, leaning on the door and holding your head up.

"What?" You asked as you shifted so one of your legs was up on the seat and grabbed the coffee. He just shakes his head and hands you the auxiliary cord with a smile.

"Give us some good music," he says as he turns and dials up the heat because you're clearly still cold. You pull out your phone and plug it in? scrolling through to what you found to be good driving music (cue it). He pulls out from the street outside your house and begins driving at the music starts. You go to pick up the rest of the group, first Y/B/F and following, Y/G/F. Both complained they had to sit in the back with one another, but nonetheless shut up, seeing as they both knew you and Y/C had an on and off "thing" going.

You were on the drive, and for most of it, you talked a little but mainly slept or listened to music- which played through your phone throughout the car. Eventually, you stopped for brunch and got there around 11:30. You were in a little cafe that only had 2 other people in it, and were at a booth in the back corner of the space. You were sitting beside Y/C, and he kept staring at you. And unfortunately, yet obviously, Y/B/F and Y/G/F were watching all of it happen, and kept nudging each other every time there was a cute moment. While you were waiting for the food, Y/C had his elbows on the table and his chin in his hands, he was looking at the other two bodies across from him. Meanwhile, you had your arm linked through one of his, and your head rested on the table next to his elbow, and your eyes were closed; your hood was up. Seeing as the two of you were so unobservant in the moment, Y/B:F decided it was the perfect opportunity to take pictures. Until finally, the food arrive. You all ate and started talking about life, and you all spilt some tea and told some stories.

When you finished, you all liked back into the car and started driving again to get to a hiking site you and Y/B/F had researched earlier. Soon enough, you all got to the location and began your climb up the large trail. As you started walking, at first, you were walking with Y/C, the two of you in front of Y/B/F and Y/G/F, who couldn't stop grinning at the fact that Y/C had his arm around your shoulders.

About halfway up though, Y/B/F ran up to you two, and weasled her way un between the both of you.

"Y/C, Y/G/F wants to talk to you," she said. Y/C nods and stops walking to wait for Y/G/F, while you and her kept walking. It was silent for a minute, because you both were looking around, but then she piped up and looked at you.

"How are you and Y/C?" You just smile but raise an eyebrow. "Oh, c'mon. You guys are practically dating. On the drive he had his right hand on your thigh, he's always smiling at you and you were laying on him in the cafe,"

You roll your eyes. "Correction, I was laying on a table. And it's not official yet. We aren't dating," you respond. Y/B/F pauses before she speaks.

"But you it's very clear you both like each other," you have to stop yourself from smiling, but she notices and you just smack her arm.
"Don't worry, Y/G/F is giving Y/C the same exact talk right now," You both turn around momentarily and see Y/B/F shoving Y/C. He was just smiling like an idiot and turning a bit red. Y/B/F turns back to you and continues talking. "The day you guys become official, I'm gonna celebrate,"

You finally get to the top and find an area where you can sit and eat. The guys set everything up while Y/B/F and you moved the sticks and rocks away from yourselves. You all sat and, once again, just say there talking. About 2 hours later, you all started walking back down, and you were extremely tired, so Y/C gave you a piggy back ride down to where his car was, while Y/B/F and Y/G/F carried the stuff.

Once you got to the car, you were all tired, and during the car ride on the way to another place where you could all just chill and watch the stars, it got really quiet. You turned around and saw Y/B/F and Y/G/F both fast asleep, leaning against one another. You turned back to Y/C and laugh.

"Wow, they're asleep already," Y/C doesn't take the opportunity to talk, instead he just smiles as he drives. But suddenly, he speaks up.

"Today was a good day. I got to spend time with my friends and more importantly, you. I like spending time with you," he murmurs the last part and moved his hand slightly closer to you. You just smiled at how sweet he was. "I want to spend all my time with you, I enjoy it all the time. I go home after we hang out and I always text you that I had a good time and I always do. You're one of the only people where I get so excited and eager to plan another time for us to be together," he emphasized on the word 'together' and you just looked at him and smiled. He leans over and grabs one of your hands that was in your lap, intertwining your fingers. You still thought that the other two were asleep, but now Y/B/F had awoken, because she was pretending to sleep just to see if anything would happen with you and Y/C. She just laid there quietly, listening and watching him smile at you and just hold your hands. And you can bet your ass she was taking even more pictures.

You finally got to the park area, and Y/G/F was awake by then, so all of you got out and set the blankets up and laid down. You were in between Y/B/F and Y/C, and it got dark out pretty fast. You just laid there, all laughing and talking, and you were cuddling with Y/C the majority of the time. You had one arm and one leg around him, and he had an arm around your waist and you both just laid there smiling at each other while talking and cuddling.

And eventually, you fell asleep watching the stars.
