When you see the * play the song :)

Life in Neverland was simple. Well, as simple as it could be after about 3 days. You hadn't been there even a week, and already you'd built up a wall. Simple, that was the word you described it as. Really it was hexing, and the boys you were forced to spend your life with enjoyed tormenting you. Every day-every hour, even- they managed to come up with a new, nowhere near accurate, insulting nickname.

"Hey, deerbrain!"

"Moron!"

"Muted Mary!"

And those were only a few. Quite frankly the only near accurate one was muted mary as you took an almost complete vow of silence by the time you'd come to your senses and decided that this was in fact, not a dream. You still spoke when you needed to, but the sentences were very curt. Simple, one could say. Only asking to go to the bathroom or what you should do next, maybe even a yes or no- but it was only when necessary. Usually you could get away with a facial expression, or a nod or shake of the head.

"Little sparrow!" That was the one nickname you couldn't tune out, because it belonged to the only one allowed to use it; the only one you couldn't hide from.

Pan was striding towards the open fire as you sat on a log, only accompanied by one boy. The others had been previously teasing you about how clumsy you were with a knife, but you only ignored them as their words meant nothing. You knew you could never be as talented as them with a weapon, nor as brave with your words- not really. You always managed to tune out the clever insults and witty comebacks of the boys, and never attempted any of your own. You only knew it could get you into more trouble.

There was only one voice you really listened to, because you had to. It was quite clear that if you were to ignore, or even avoid him, Pan would have no trouble torturing you more than you already felt as you were. Sure, you could get away without responding, though in lights situations only. If he was serious and wouldn't get a response, you knew your very existence would be in question. If it was lighthearted, or if he was simply toying with you as the other boys did, he didn't mind your silent rebellion, just rather made it clear you were to listen to him at all.

"Oh little sparrow," he sang song as he sat across from you, the other boys watching intently. "You have a little treat for us tonight!" Your eyebrows furrowed and the other boys were riveted with interest, some even let out little cheers of excitement.

"What's she got for us, Pan?" One asked, suggestively. You took note of which boy so that you could avoid him at all costs. The head boy only smirked, raising a perfectly sculpted eyebrow in your direction as he clasped his hands together, elbows resting on his knees.

"Well boys, little does my little sparrow know but last night I caught her taking a dip in the pond," all the boys let out suggestive 'ooos' and you could only crumple into a little ball as the boy next to you had a particularly hungry look in his eyes, "and she did something unbelievably attractive,"

You felt your cheeks hear up as the boys cheers got louder, some even standing to their feet. Your whole body felt numb as you wondered what he was talking about, when all you did last night was-

"She sang." As Pan's voice rang out, the boys went a little more silent, though they bore shocked looks upon their youthful faces. "And I suggest," his eyebrow twitched, "that my little sparrow be the one to give us the music tonight." He leaned back, reaching behind him and grabbed something, and before you knew it, his infamous panflute was landing in your hands.
