Chapter IV

The next morning

The suns rays beamed through the rooms curtains waking Momo from her sleep she opened her eyes to find yourself wrapped in Shoto's arms a blush crossed her face as she remembered them falling asleep together after he came home drunk.

Which also reminded her of what she had to do. "Shoto, wake up." she said as she shook his sleeping form in front of her.

"Ugh, five more minutes Momo." he said in his sleep as he wrapped himself tighter around her as she blushed.

He still thinks of me in his sleep her head sizzled at his words as her blush was heating up her face making her brain feel like it was melting, but she quickly composed herself as she needed to do what she set out to do. "shoto! wake up!" cupped his face shaking it.

"Ugh!" he sat up "ugh, what are you doing?" he said holding his head "my brain feels like it's gonna explode on itself."

"Well that was the only thing I could think of to wake you up." she said as she sat down next to him.

"Well now I'm up." he said as he rubbed his head.

"So shoto do you remember anything from last night?" she asked

"Umm, do you mean before or after I went drinking with Midoriya." he asked

"After." she affirmed

"Ugh, it's a bit fuzzy but yeah everything's there." he said "ugh!" and there's the story." he clutched his left side of his face with his hand.

Momo just giggled as she watched his demeanor.

"So do you remember what we were gonna talk about?" she asked looking up at him.

"Yeah about your engagement right?" he said as he still felt his head spinning just then footsteps came running down the hall as his door swung open as Midoriya bust in the room "shoto! we're gonna be late for the ceremony!" he shouted then looked at the scene in front of him as him and Momo sat there next to each other "oh, was I interrupting." he said as a blush crossed his face. "I'll just come back later." he said running out the room.

"Oh my! he's right." Momo said looking at the time on her phone it was a quarter till noon and the ceremony was to start at 1:30 "I'm so sorry shoto but I have to go if I wanna be able to get ready in time, I'll see you there." she said before getting up and rushing to the door looking back.

"Yeah I'll see you there." he said as he sat there, she smiled and closed the door behind her as he then decided to get up and get ready himself. After his shower he got a message from Midoriya saying he was in and he told him that he'll let the drones know to pack some of his stuff only the essentials so they could depart after the ceremony.

At the ceremony

The ceremony was beautiful and it took roughly 4 hours the first hour was the principal and others giving short speeches, another 10 minutes was Momo giving her co Valedictorian speech as Bakugo only took 5 which was him mainly stating how he was going to become the next all might and another 45 minutes of it was just Lidia giving his speech. the the rest of the time was taken up by the handing of diplomas and name calling which felt like forever till it was finally his turn to be called out.

"Shoto todoroki!" present mic said his name to walk up as he walks he heard cheers from his friends and the crowd as he looked he heard.

"SHHOOOOTOOOOO!!!!" Come from the crowd as he looked to see his father with his family as they cheered. he sighed at the slight embarrassment but walked up and grabbed his diploma as he then walked off to take his seat next to Midoriya and Lidia as they all smiled at each other knowing that after today they would be full fledge hero's making their debut.
