Chapter XI

Momo at their apartment

It had now been 1 month 3 weeks 18 hours and 36 minutes since they last started working on the UA's sports festival and planning for their up coming wedding and things only got even more hectic with the accidental revealing of the heroine Creati's wedding.

Flash back

It happen about 4 days after Shoto had proposed Momo had finally been able to start hero work after moving to A1HA and was so busy with that and wedding planning she forgot to take off her ring when out for hero work. It's not that she wanted to, the thought had crossed her mind but just the quick second it popped into her brain she felt so much sadness and it made her feel empty at the thought of taking off the ring Shoto gave her. She was then brought back by the sound of her laptop pinging with another message from the group chat as they talked about wedding preparations. that she totally forgot about it and when on patrol still wearing it. She was only reminded about it when she was walking and a fan spotted her and mentioned it. Now she was caught red handed as she couldn't just lie about it the thought of hurting Shoto made her heart ache and soon she was flooded on the street by fans asking how it happened and when the wedding would be and would it be open to the public or would they have a private ceremony.

It all happened so fast and she felt like her heart would burst out of her chest. the voices and her thoughts racing inside her head only made the stress and pressure of all the things that were happening only feel like they were dragging her beneath the water as she got cornered into the wall of the building behind her. all she could do was look at all the people asking question after question, she closed her eyes as she felt she would soon scream from the anxiety but just as her resolve was on it's last strand she felt a gust of cold wind and she now stood next to Shoto on an ice pillar above the people.

Shoto looked down at her at his side as she steadied herself on his side as he then looked down

"Alright I think Creati should be left alone for now! any and all questions will be answered soon and if you want to know more then you'll just have to wait for the press conference but for now I suggest you go on about your business!" he said eyeing the people below them as they all either sighed or scowled at the dual hero before turning to go about their business.

"What do you say we go home for today?" he said looking into her eyes

"But I still have so much work in my office left."

"Isn't that why we have interns."

"Yes, but I can't just drop everything on her. she just has 3 days since she started." Momo replied

"She'll be fine you're a great teacher and she's in the top 10 in her school I'm sure she's more than capable of handling it." he said as she melted in his gaze.

"Hmm," she paused as she thought it over biting the corner of her lip as she fiddled with her ring spinning around her finger.

He watched her and smiled at the new antic she had taken on since their engagement how she opt from twirling her hair on her finger to this.

"Ok but let me just call her to let her know ok? and I'll take her out for lunch tomorrow too. She said as she dialed.

"You're as kind as always." he smiled "no wonder you have so many internship request." he laughed as he brought them to the ground melting his ice.

End flash back

She hears the door unlock as foot steps enter their home she turns from her laptop and looks to see Shoto walking in the entrance with a bag in hand

"Guess what came in today at the office." he said holding the trash bag up with a chuckle.

"More! Shoto I'm so sorry." she said as she got up and hugged her fiancé.
