"Thank You po Lord for making us both mature enough to continue this without being distant from each other." Bea said a little prayer before going driving herself to work.
"Hoy! Tama na nga muna ngiti mo dyan! Nakaka-bitter ka!" Ella shouted as she passed by Jho's table.
"Bakit ako? Di ko kasalanan na wala kang jowa."
"Jowa? Bakit ikaw, may jowa ka ba? Kayo na ba? Aber??"
"Hindi pa. Bakit ba."
"Hindi PA!!!" Jia and Ella cheered together. Jho just shook her head and smiled. Some friends she has.
Jho can't contain her excitement. She kept on looking at the clock to see if it was already 5 PM.
"Hoy Maraguinot! Matutunaw na ang orasan kakatitig mo!" Ella shouted.
"Oo nga Jho! 'Di ba masakit sa leeg yang kakalingon mo?" Jia added.
"Inaano ko ba kayo guys! Kanina niyo pa ako trip eh. For all I know, you're both excited for me."
"Syempre naman! May magsusundo na sa baby girl namin. Ide-date ka pa!"
"Alam niyo, talo niyo pa sina Mama. Buti nga yun, chill lang eh."
"Ah basta! Aayusan ka din kasi namin. Will we let you go out looking like that?" Jia looked at me from head to toe. Aray bes.
"Sakit naman magsalita! Mukha ba akong stressed?" Jho said worriedly. Natawa naman si Ella.
"Ayan, nadagdagan tuloy yang kapangitan mo! Hahahaha!"
"Thank you ha! You're so kind to compliment me." She said sarcastically and rolled her eyes.
As soon as the clock struck 5, Jia and Ella hurriedly dragged Jho out of the office to "prepare" her for her date.
"Hoy san niyo ko dadalhin? Susunduin ako ni Bea sa office!"
"Chill ka lang Jho. We know what we're doing." Jho just let out a sigh of surrender. Alam niya namang hindi na siya makakahindi.
"Basta bilisan niyo lang ah!"
Jia started putting out her make-up. Ella was starting to fix Jho's hair. All along, Jho thought that her friends didn't care much but look at them now. They seemed more prepared than her.
