After the battle with the O'Dricoll boys, Sarah hasn't been the same. Arthur of course is gone once again. It's been a week or so now..she can't keep track of his disappearances..

First she was kidnapped, then the shootout.. Abigail told her all of her own misfortunes of being in the gang, even shortly before Sarah was brought, her dear Jack was stolen by a mobster in Saint Denis..

She didn't know what her life is leading to..

As she's helping Abigail wash the dishes when Arthur comes riding up, dirty and exhausted.

"About time you come back, we have business to attend!" Dutch orders.

"Dutch..I need a break. I'm exhausted and I know the rest of the gang is to."

"Arthur this isn't apart of my plan! We cannot waste time."

Arthur drops his head, the tension and exhaustion clear on his face.

"Take a break boy, Dutch can wait." Hosea strolls by, patting Arthur on the back then continues with a bright smile like he didn't just step on the leader's toes.
Dutch rolls his eyes at the back of Hosea's head.
"Okay. You can have a day or two, but we need to get going, we can't stay here much longer."

Arthur nods his head, heading into the house. Her curiosity got the better of her, she wonders why he is so exhausted and where he has been all this time.

Abigail nudges Sarah with her elbow. "Go after him. A little lovin' never hurt no one." She winks, continuing the dishes.

"No loving will be happening better Arthur and I, we are...acquaintances."

"Acquaintances don't stare at each other like that." She laughs.

Sarah shakes her head, cheeks glowing pink now. "I can't do that! I'd be ruined if I did! But...he is handsome I can't deny that."

Abigail laughs ."Yes and blessed." Sarah gasps at her friend's bluntness.

"Shhhh! What if John hears you!"

"Oh John knows my past! He knows I'm being light hearted about it." She waves a hand nonchalantly.

"So you and Arthur..?" Sarah finds herself asking despite the voice in her head saying not to.

Abigail cocks a dark brow. "Yes..at one point or another, we did. But it ain't like that, I was a working girl and..Arthur and I had been drinking." She trails off, leaving Sarah to fill in the blanks with a blush.

"Sarah! Can you take this basin of fresh water to Mr Morgan?" Miss Grimshaw asks, winking at Abigail before Sarah could see.

"Umm.. of course." She hesitates, still shocked at her friend's confession. She shakes it off, taking the basin. Suddenly her heart starts to flutter in her chest now.

"Go Sarah hun, he's waitin." Miss Grimshaw shoos her playfully.

"Oh Abigail what do I do?" Sarah squeals with panic.

"Well firstly you go up there and give that man his water. It ain't a big deal! Go, stop bein' a chicken!"

Sarah takes a deep breath, nodding. "Yeah..I should go."

She heads towards the house with courage, there is nothing wrong with bringing a man fresh water after a long day of work.. but it is very domestic.. and Sarah is certainly trying to avoid domestic..

She gets to Arthur's door, knocking quietly. She feels like leaving the water and running away as fast as she can. Except he didn't answer. She knocks once more, still no answer. She peeps in only to be surprised by a shirtless Arthur, who is also shocked at the sight of her waltzing in.

"Sarah..I'm sorry I was coming to the door but I had to..dress more." He drops his head, cringing at his own words.

She blushes at the thought of him completely naked and thought 'what if I had walked in! How careless of me...And how tempting he would be.. ' She shakes the thought away.

"I'm sorry for barging in! My Lord above I'm so forward.." She shakes her head, cheeks red from embarrassment.

"Don't worry, it happens a lot around here." He chuckles, taking the basin. "Thank you, I appreciate it." He sits the basin on a table nearby, leaving her to stare. He meets her gaze, smiling while she stares at him in awe."Was there anything else?"

She shakes her head, squeezing her eyes shut. "No! I don't know what's came over me. My manners have seemed to vanish completely and I'm standing here watching you like a fool." Her voice is quiet suddenly, smiling nervously at the man.

"Well being around this gang seems to have that affect. But I could use some help. If you don't mind?" He raises an eyebrow at her in question.

"Umm...I can help, but no more than that." She shuts the door then rushed towards him, almost tripping over his boots. "Dammit." She curses, blushing.

Arthur chuckles, "that seems to be a habit picked up around here too." He hints towards the cursing.

"It seems so." She agrees, smiling.

"I'm real stiff..I ain't truly recovered from being kidnapped and beaten by them damn O'Driscolls a while back.. sometimes I need help now.."

"Oh! How awful, what happened?" She asks.

He sits on the rickety bed, handing a already wet rag to her. "You know, curiosity killed the cat." He chuckles which makes her blush. "But they're real tricky bastards.." She starts at his muscular back and wide shoulders, washing gently but thoroughly as she listens to him.
Coming around to his chest and neck to continue, she finds him looking up at her. His blue eyes watch her closely as he speaks of the past, she notices the flecks of green and gold around the pupil, she very much likes his piercing eyes. "I snuck off..thankfully.. damn near killed me." He shakes his head thinking over that time.

"That sounds...horrific. I wish you could've killed them.." she finds herself thinking of how they did poor Arthur and how she would like them to pay...very out of character for her. She meets his gaze again, stupidly blushing..

A smile lingers on his lips as he notices her shy away as he boldly watches her. He takes her hand gently as she begins to wash his chest. He firmly grasps her wrists which makes her drop the rag and gasp in response. He pulls her hand to his lips, slowly kisses the tips of each finger. "I'm truly sorry for all you've been through, let me take care of you."
He slowly stands, kissing her. This was the first time she's ever been kissed, he tastes like whiskey and the smell of tobacco engulfs her. He deepens the kiss when she gasps as he lays her on the tiny bed. "I'm not a good man, but I will be good to you if you let me..I can't promise forever but I can promise now."

She stares up at him, he was just speaking of how poorly he was treated and he's worried about taking care of her. He's brave and so handsome.
He's giving her all his attention and for once she actually finds herself loving it.

He leans over her waiting. He trails kisses down her neck then pulls back to smile at her.
She quickly leans forward, boldly planting flutter like kisses on his square jaw, and leading them down to his thick neck. He groans at the contact, pulling her closer. "You can take care of me if I can repay the favor." She winks.
