•Chap.16 "Young Love" •

:: Ray's POV::

(hours earlier-one hour before Chres/Jake woke up)

I woke up to my phone buzzing beside me. I grabbed it not looking at the ID and answered.

"Hello?" my voice answered groggily.

"Hey boo ." I heard a girly voice reply. I recognized it instantly.

"Zonnique?" I smirked rolling over on my back.

"Yeah..I was wondering if you could, you know,come over ." she stated . By the tone of her voice, I knew what she was getting at.

"Ha, I'll be over in 15." I said sitting up. I heard her giggle.

"Can't wait," she cooed then hung up.

I laughed to myself then looked to my side. I raised an eyebrow seeing that Jacob was cuddled up with Chresanto.

That's . . ironic. I thought scratching my head.

I leaned my head to the side , observing further. They actually looked cute, if that's alright to say Ha.

I smirked knowingly . I can tell they have some sort of feeling for each other . You can tell by how they look at each other . It happened fast, I'll say that . Jacob seems special. And specially sent to Chresanto.

I smiled at the thought while getting up. Glancing at the clock it was around 3.

I went to Chres's room and grabbed my bag along with my keys, came back down &left out the front door making sure to lock it back.

I made it to Zonnique's house and she opened up on the first bell . Dang,anxious aren't we?

She smiled excitedly and pulled me in by my hand &shut the door. 

(hours later. morning-9:00am)

I woke up to a bright light shining. It was the sun peaking through Z's hot pink curtains. I groaned and sat up looking to the side. She was sprawled out ,hanging off the bed even.

"How graceful ." I mumbled sarcastically to myself . I chuckled and got up , pulling my pants on along with my shirt. I looked at my phone seeing a message from Jacob.

Jake ✌

» Hey Ray! c: Where are you?? :c

I laughed at the message. Jacob is funny without trying. 

Me

« I'll be back. Don't worry JakeyPancakey

"Well I just made myself hungry." I scoffed .

Z started to wake up. "Ray?" she called tiredly . "What you doing up?"

"Oh, I'm just leaving." I said . She frowned a bit. "Well okay." she replied falling back to sleep .

I shook my head. I needed to stop this anyway. I decided to go home, shower&stuff.
