Chapter 20

The person kept on singing in the dark as he came closer revealing his face, it was none other than Connor Meade.

"Happy birthday darling" says Connor as he handed Sia a rose flower which she collected with a stomach filled with butterflies.

"And who is he?" Asked Bethany in a whispery tone

"I remember mom telling you vividly to always mind your business Beth" Zuhri said without turning to look at her as she glared at Connor and sia who were both hugging their selves

"That's it for now, you guys should take the dance floor" Zayn announced showing them way to the living room which was crated like a dancefloor.

"Before that, I'd like to show you something Sia."

He's going to propose now, oh my gosh.....Sia muttered to herself

"Sorry did you say something?" Connor asked

"Oh no no, I'm just glad you remembered. I mean you scared the shit outta me" she says in relief

"Oh c'mon, there's no way I'd ever forget your birthday. Now come outside, I need to show you something"

He wants to propose in a unique manner I see......Sia thought as she blushed.

"Oh and everybody, you can also come out as well" Connor instructed as everyone came out standing in front of the mansion.

"I wonder what he's up to" Zuhri said to Zayn who just simply watched curiously

"Now, I know y'all are all wondering why I called you out here and I know it's cold but it's worth it cuz I have a birthday present for Sia Weldge. And it's none other than this!" He pointed towards the garden where a cloth was removed by Connor's friends exhibiting a Benz car.

"Do you like the surprise Sia?" He asked with a furrowed eyebrows

Sia nodded in numbness as she ran inside ignoring the fact she heard Connor call her repeatedly.

"What's wrong with her?" Connor thought

"I think we should all go inside" zeech suggested

"May I come in?" Zuhri asked behind closed doors

"Come in!" Sia ushered her in as she sniffed

Zuhri walked in shutting the door behind her as she walked over to Sia who was sitting in front of a mirror styling her hair

"Hey, why'd you run out like that?"

"I guess because i received an unexpected gift" Sia replied as she fixed her gaze on Zuhri

"Look I know what you were expecting and I'd suggest you go see the end of this surprise."

"It's just a Benz Zuhri, it might be expensive and all but that's not what I wanted at least not at this stage in our relationship" Sia tells Zuhri

"Just forget about this conversation and go to Connor, trust me" Zuhri said as she gave her a light kiss other forehead

"Are you sure about it?"

"Totally"

Sia stepped out of the mansion only to see Connor on his kneels. He gestured her to come forward as she obliged. Then he threw the words she was dying to hear "Will you spend your forever with me?" Connor asked as he raised up a brow forcing out a smile exhibiting his dimple. Sia knew it really did came as a surprise because she thought he wasn't going to propose but he did and her answer was none other than a yes as they both sealed the moment with their mouths crashing together with happiness

"Remember when I proposed to you Zuhri, you were swimming in butterflies" Zayn chuckled as Zuhri just rolled her eyes.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He whispered into Zuhri's ear. And she walked out but not too far, she approached Sia and Connor who were all greeting the other guests

"Congratulations" Zuhri smiled as she pulled Sia into a warm hug and gave Connor a handshake. "I'm relieved now cuz I don't know what Sia would have done if you hadn't propose"

"Hell would have unleashed" Connor laughed as Sia feigned anger then Zayn approached as well as he congratulated both of them then gestured Zuhri to come inside with him which she refused but to avoid any sort of awkwardness in front of Sia and Connor, she obliged

Zayn opened the study room door as he extended his hand for Zuhri to enter which she hesitantly did. It was all obvious to Zayn that Zuhri was angry about what he had said in the kitchen

"What if I tell you that I'm willing to allow you to go for the surgery?" He asked as he tossed his hands in his pocket

"Really?" She asked with an amazed look and Zayn gave a nod. He then explained to her that he doesn't want anything to hurt her and he just doesn't feel very comfortable with anything surgical but Zuhri assured him that she was just going to be fine.

"Your Zuhri will be fine Zayn, there's nothing to worry about" she said as she pulled him into a long hug caressing his back then as she pulled out, Zuhri placed her hand on his cheek

"It will be fine so long as I've got your support" she said in an assuring tone as she walked out
