Chapter 17

"I hereby sentence Mr. Randolph to ten years imprisonment for the assault of miss Kate parker. I rest my case" Mrs Zuhri Whitehorse passed her verdict as she stood up and walked out of the court room meeting sasha on the way to her office.

"Hi, you must be Zuhri weldge?" Sasha asked with an extended hand for an intended handshake which Zuhri ignored

"No I'm not" she replied with an attitude Making sasha confused.
I'm judge Zuhri weldge Whitehorse" she completed as she gave an evil smirk

Sasha chuckled and apologized for the wrong way she addressed her.

"Why do you want to see me?" Zuhri asked fixing her gaze on her so intently

"I'd rather we speak about this in your office" sasha suggested

"Well I don't allow just anybody into my office in fact you do realize that without an appointment you can't even see me" she stated

"Look, I'm here to clear up any misunderstanding you have of your husband and I. I'm also a woman, I might be single but I'm not the kind of person to steal another woman's man"

"I don't need to hear any blah blah from you nothing but a female basketball coach. Remember I'm a judge and I can easily get you off my track if I find out you have anything with my husband" Zuhri warned as she walked out of sasha who just shook her head then Zayn approached sasha

"Wow, I never knew she'd ever talk like that" Zayn said with disappointment written all over him.

Zuhri got home at a normal time, 11pm and went up to her bedroom

"Zayn....guess what I bought for you?" She said excitedly

Zayn pretended like he was sleeping

How can he possibly be sleeping?, He always waits for me till I get back. Zuhri thought and figured he might still be pissed at her since the argument.So she decided to wake him up

"What is it Zuhri!?" Zayn shouted making Zuhri startled

"You've never shouted at me like that Zayn"

"And I never knew you were such a proud brat"

"What do you mean by that?" Zuhri asked, confused

"I was with sasha at the court and I heard all you said

"Oh that" Zuhri rolled her eyes

"Yeah seems to me you found nothing wrong with what you did judge" he said in a very serious tone

Zuhri gave a fake chuckle and said "Don't tell me we're arguing over that female basketball coach"

"Zuhri I'm also a basketball coach so just quit trying to belittle others all because you're a so called judge"

"No, no Zayn, I didn't belittle anybody here. I was just trying to put her in her place."

"Well you did put me in my place as well"

"Look Zayn, I'm in no mood to fight. That woman you call a friend wants you and I don't blame you if you're blind, she's obviously Cunning and I tell you she's nothing but a piece of thrash" Zuhri blurted out as she was hit by zayn's harsh words

"You've changed a lot Zuhri" he said with tears in his eyes as he walked out of the bedroom with a blanket and pillow

"You got me all wrong Zayn" She cried.

"Why did you call me over to your house on a Tuesday morning when you're supposed to be at work Zuhri?" Sia complained

"As you can clearly see sis, I'm packing up my stuffs" Zuhri said as she tossed her clothes inside three boxes

"Are you going on a vacation?" Sia asked

"Yes in fact I'm going to Macau, silly. I'm going back to my house and soon as I get to the court today, I'm going to get divorce papers ready"

"What!, Why?" Sia asked with a concerned look as Zuhri told her the about everything in details

"So you mean he actually slapped you?"

"Yes he did, now help me with my bags cuz I need to get this over with" she stated frankly
