Pepper sat in the crowd of the Ellen show nervously waiting for her husband to embarrass her with his crude words.
"Hey everyone welcome back, Now we've got my favourite person on the show today. He really is incredible. Ladies and gentlemen please welcome Tony Stark." She announced. The audience went wild with applause as he strutted out onto the stage. He stopped walking and turned to the crowd blowing kisses and winking at them. When his eye caught Pepper and he mouthed I love you to her. He continued walking and sat down on the white chair.
"It's such a pleasure to have you on the show." Ellen said happily.
"It's a pleasure to be here." He charmed back.
"When was the last time you were here? It was a while ago wasn't it?" She asked.
"Yeah I think it was just after I announced I was Ironman." He concluded
"Yeah, well that time we was talking business and crime fighting but nowww we're talking love stories and weddings. Your married now aren't you." She pressed.
"Yeah I am." He confirmed holding up his hand to reveal a platinum ring.
"Well I remember watching you and Pepper on the news of a morning at press conferences and now your married." She laughed.
"Yeah well, we've known eachother a long time and she's essentially my best friend. It took a while to persuade her to be with me though. She was always so professional but I managed to woo her." He playfully joked.
"I was in New York the other day and I saw her on a billboard with the title most powerful woman and I was like wow Tony is one lucky guy." The host joked.
"She's great honestly. I'm so infatuated with her and everything about her. I just love how capable she is and everything about her really. She's a great wife and an amazing mother. The other day actually I was playing with my son he's 2 and I was like roar I'm gonna get you and he just looked at me and was like Dadda Momma won't let you do that she's stronger and I just laughed. It's the same with my daughter aswell apparently moms stronger to them even though I fly around saving the world." He boasts.
"So you've got a boy who's 2 and your daughters 4 right?" She enquired.
"Yeah that's right. Maria and Morgan." He replied back.
"And are they here with you?"
"Yeah they're in my dressing room with Peppers mother but Pepper is in the audience now."
"Really? Where?"
"She's  Just there." He informed her motioning to Peppers seat.
"Honey come on up here." She rose from her seat and walked towards him. He stood up to meet her and kissed her passionately which caused the audience to burst into applause. Then they sat down together hand in hand.
"Yaknow what I loved that. That was a real kiss. It's clear he's nuts about you Pepper his eyes twinkle when he talks about you." Ellen laughed.
"I'm nuts about her." He muttered.
"So let's talk about the kids. How are they?"
"They're good, they were running around in the stage lot just so yeah they're enjoying their time alot."
"Is parenthood harder than you thought it would be?"
"Well with me I have sort of a motherly instinct but with Tony it was completely new to him and when we had our first Maria he was having emotional breakdowns and crying and during the birth he was freaking out more than me but fatherhood came naturally to him."
"Yah I love being a dad, yaknow it's just so easy it's just you love them and they love you and it's all that matters. They've really softened me up. I mean there was a time when I would party outrageously and hookup with strangers, don't get me wrong it was fun but I love being a dad." He boasted.
"Do Peppers parents like you?"
"I mean they like me now but at first they hated me. I first met them at their farm and I went to shake her dads hand and he picked up a pitchfork an was like 'I know what game your playing stark' I feared for my life. And I went to her mother and she was like so how long are you gonna be with Ginny before you bin her. I was so intimidated." He laughed.
"So let's talk about the wedding then. You hired out the whole of Central Park right? And you had the whole day documented, Is that right?"
"Yeah so I hired the whole of Central Park and we had the whole day documented and we let one news station that we trust stream the documentary. Which I think was a mistake because now the whole world has seen me cry."
"I mean I watched it and your vows were just the sweetest, they really were."
"Thank you, I had such a hard time writing it like I'd be writing it down and I'd be like no these words aren't good enough. Im surprised I
managed to write the vows but everything I said in there is like 1/10 of Pepper. Words really can't describe her." He said leaning into Pepper and kissing her.
"You guys really are so in love."
"We are. Yaknow we have things we do so that we don't argue or take anger out on eachother and we always make time for eachother and the family. It's really important."
"And is it hard when when your away on missions with the super friends?"
"It's so hard because your away from home for a really long time it can be a few days or a few months and I always miss the family like crazy because and I don't like to say this but you never know the outcome of the mission or wether your never gonna return home."
"I feel like we should get the kids up her and have the whole family on here."
"Great idea, kids come on out." Two small children came running from behind a wall to their parents. Maria immediately ran to Tony and Morgan instinctively ran to Pepper. They sat them happily on their laps. They really were one big happy family.
"Dadda do you like my princess dress?" She asked sweetly pulling on her fathers tie.
"I do your my princess aren't you."
"Yep!" She squealed.
"Wow they really are beautiful children."
"Well they were destined to be, they are Starks after all." Tony smirked.
"And do they take after their father with his high IQ?"
"They do, the other day I come home from work and they were both in Tony's workshop working on cars with him and Maria was taking apart her DS and adding upgrades. It was great just watching the three of them tinker." Pepper said feeding his ego.
"That's all for today folks, we will see you tomorrow at 10:00am. Bye."
