"He sacrificed himself Pep. I always knew my dad wouldn't shut up about that guy for a reason." Tony turned to Pepper and rested a hand on hers. They were sitting on their couch in front of the fire in the lodge.
"He's a good man Tony. He knew it was the right thing to do. It is Captain America it's what he said he would do." She whispered lightly.
"Daddy why are you crying?" A voice murmured sadly. Tony and Pepper turned to see Morgan sitting on the stairs behind them with a stuffed bear in her hand.
"Hey little miss what are you doing up?" Tony said, looking at her.
"I heard you and Mommy talking." She explained, walking up to him and sitting on his lap, head resting on his shoulder.
"Maybe me and Daddy should be more quiet when we talk." Pepper chuckled lightly, resting her head on Tony's shoulder.
"This is nice. I got both my best girls here." He laughed.
"I love you 3000 Mommy and Daddy." Morgan whispered into Tonys shoulder.
"But i thought you loved me more?" Tony said, pretending to be sad.
"Nope I love you both the same." Morgan giggled.
"I thought it wasn't a competition." Pepper chuckled into his neck which caused him to chuckle back.
"It's not but it's nice too know i'm loved." He jokes, looking at her with his bourbon eyes. She looks back with the same love filled contentment. Morgan raises her head and looks between her parents. She'd never really known about their type of love but she knows it must be a strong love because they're always so happy together.
"Daddy i wanna play." She whined, pushing her head back into the crook of his neck.
"It's bed time for you. Tomorrow you can play all day and me and mommy will take you to the park." He bribed, laughing secretly at his little girls whining.
"Okay." She sighed, looking up and kissing him on the cheek.
"Alright come on, me and mommy will put you to bed." Tony told her standing up.
"I want you and Mommy to sing to me like you sometime do." She coaxed with her puppy eyes.
"Okay okay, me and mommy will sing to you but you have to promise not to snoop around my workshop okay?" He persuaded her looking into her eyes.
"Okay i promise."
