Tony sat on the sun lounger with a glass of scotch, utterly shocked that their first argument as a married couple was about another woman. Tony thought those arguments were left behind in their early relationship. He thought they were past that point of trust. He didn't expect himself to lash out at Pepper like that and the only reason he did was because he loved her so much and he couldn't ever love anyone like he loved her. He sipped his scotch and let it burn his throat. As he was about to get up to find Pepper, she sat opposite him.
"I'm sorry. I really don't want to fight with you." She whispered, dropping her head.
"I hate fighting with you but do you still seriously not trust me?" He wondered.
"Tony I do trust you. It was just different because I don't have to worry with other girls because you don't know them but with Steff, you knew eachother and had memories with eachother." She said, embarrassed at her actions.
"Yeah, I guess I understand. If it hurts like this when we fight it must be love." Tony joked. As he went to lean over and kiss her his phone pinged. He got it out and saw that someone had sent him a newspaper article. He opened it and began to read it.
"Trouble in paradise? Newlyweds Mr and Mrs Stark share heated argument on their honeymoon in Hawaii. Rumours Are speculating the cause of the argument was Stark and a mystery woman laughing and joking while his wife was no where to be seen?" Tony read out to Pepper.
"Argh great just great." She muttered. He slid his phone into his pocket and kissed her. She lay down on the sun lounger as he hovered over her, kissing her mouth all the way down to her collar bone. He pulled his shirt over his head and began kissing her gently.
Let's just say the sun went down and the air grew cold but they were still sweating.
