And Dog

And Ty.

At peace

Because of me.

Louis finds it.

He asks me,

Twenty headstones

In your flower garden?"

I tell him

A lie.

I say,

"My cat

Had kittens

And they

Died.

Buried them

All back there."

I even

tear up

For show.

Louis believes me.
