There are several distinct mental illnesses mentioned throughout this short story (not just anorexia/depression/bulimia/body dysphoria) and I recommend you proceed with caution if you're sensitive to schizoaffective disorder and anti-social personality disorder and the many symptoms that come along with them (delusions, manic episodes, animal cruelty, belief that an ordinary event is special with more than a basic personal meaning, random and dislocated conversation, etc)
