Today was the day. The day I left my perfect life behind. My friends, my family, everything. If it weren’t for my dad’s stupid job, I wouldn’t have to move to Texas.
“Jess!” My mum called, “we are leaving in 20 minutes, finish packing up your room!”
I didn’t want to. I love this house, I had been living here for the whole 15 years of my life. And the worst part is that the cast of my favourite TV Show, Teen Wolf, will be in Houston the first week I am there for Houston Con and my mum and dad aren’t even letting me go.
“Jess! It’s time to finish packing! We are about to leave for the airport!” My dad shouted.
They were all excited, I don’t know why. We are leaving all of our family and friends to go somewhere where we don’t know anyone. I slowly finished packing my things trying to savour every last second of being in this house. My mum and dad were waiting for me in the taxi, I slowly made my way downstairs and shut the door for the very last time and left for the airport.

These first couple of chapters a going to be short as they are kind of just telling you about the character and leading up to the main part!
