I followed Dylan inside the venue and he made sure that the security let me sit front row whilst he went up on stage along with Melissa Ponzio, Mason Dye, Linden Ashby and Orny Adams. He arrived on stage late.
“Sorry I’m late guys!” He apologized. Hundreds of girls screamed, I just sat there and smiled. “I ran into a little… accident.” He looked into my direction and winked at me, I started to blush again and felt the butterflies in my stomach. Every 5 minutes or so Dylan and I would make eye contact and we would both smile at each other. They continued talking for about another hour or so until it was meet and greet/autograph time.
I handed the lady my passes and stood in line, anxious to see Dylan again. The cast came back out after 15 minutes and we were ready to go. There were at least 200 people in line but I decided to go last so it would give me more time to talk to Dylan. It took at least 2 hours to get through all the people when finally it was my turn. I was nervous and excited at the same time. Dylan looked up whilst he was autographing and our eyes met, he winked and once again I started blushing. I got through Melissa, Linden and Orny and then finally got up to Mason and Dylan.
“I thought you had left!” He pouted. He was adorable.
“Is this Jess, I see?” Mason asked, he was a sweetheart.
“Why yes it is!” I replied, smiling like an idiot knowing that Dylan must have told him about me.
“Dylan would not shut up about you in the green room!” Mason complained. Dylan gave Mason a playful punch as his cheeks started to go bright pink.
“Dude, seriously?” He laughed. “Give us a second, okay?” Mason stood up from his chair and went to join the others, leaving me and Dylan alone.
“So, you were great up on stage!” I said. He blushed.
“Thank you, so were you, I mean, thanks” He put his palm to his face and I just laughed.
“I didn’t pick you for the type of guy to get nervous around girls,” I giggled. My phone started ringing, it was my dad. Great timing, I thought. “Sorry, it’s my dad. I have to take this.”
“Take your time.” Dylan smiled.
I was on the phone for a couple of minutes then turned around to Dylan.
“I’m so sorry, my dad’s ready to pick me up, I have to go.” I explained to Dylan. I really didn’t want to leave.
“That sucks, I would’ve loved to spend more time with you.” He sighed.
“Here,” I said, “Give me your hand.” I grabbed the pen from the autograph table and wrote my number on Dylan’s hand, he had the biggest smile on his face.
“I’ll definitely call you, Jess.” He hugged me then I walked off to meet my dad. I had never been so happy in my life. I opened the car door trying to keep the huge smile off my face.
“How was it?” Dad asked. I smiled.
“It was perfect.”
