It started getting late, it was around 6:30 and it was getting dark.

“How about we both go home, get dressed up and go out for dinner because I made reservations at one of the most romantic restaurants in Houston!” He explained excitedly.

“You’re kidding!” I shouted, “How could you get anymore perfect?!”

“I dunno,” He winked at me. “C’mon let’s get going!”

We walked back to my place and he dropped me off at my door.

“I’ll see you in one hour Chapman!” He kissed me on the cheek.

“See you then, Sprayberry.” I winked at him.

I opened the door and practically bolted inside to my mum. “Mum!” I shouted.

“I’m in the kitchen!” She shouted back.

“Dylan just took me on the cutest date ever! He set up a picnic at this adorable park and he’s picking me up in an hour to eat at one of the most romantic restaurants in Houston!”

Mum just laughed, “You need to take a breath, darling!”  I took a deep breath. “Good, now you better go get ready because you got a romantic night ahead of you!”

I rushed upstairs to get ready. I put on a tight navy blue dress, my gold sparkly heels, and a gold bangle and purse. I got my mum to help me tie my hair up in a low side bun (see external link) and I was ready to go.

“You look absolutely beautiful.” Mum choked on a tear.

“Oh mum,” I gave her a hug, she was always getting emotional. Then the doorbell rang.

“I’ll be down in a minute!” I shouted out. Dad answered the door and him and Dylan started talking whilst I was just fixing up some final touches. I then walked down the staircase, I felt like I was in a cheesy 90’s chick flick. Dylan stood there at the door looking handsome as always in his suit.

“Wow.” He looked amazed. “You look perfect.”

“Thank you” I replied, beginning to blush. “Well, should we get going?”

“We should! Nice meeting you Mr and Mrs. Chapman.” Dylan shook my dad’s hand and then we were off.

When we walked into the restaurant I was lost for words.

“Oh Dylan, it’s beautiful.”

The ceilings were at least 20 feet and every 2 metres there was a gorgeous crystal chandelier hanging down. We were directed to our table which was next to a window which looked out onto the whole of Houston.

“I can’t believe I am here with you right now” I said, “Just one week ago I was just another fan of yours.”

Dylan smiled his gorgeous smile, “I’m so glad that we met, Jess. The past week has been one of the most awesome weeks of my life. I’ve never had so much fun with someone.” He slid his hand down my face giving me chills down my spine.

“Shall we order?” He joked.

“Yes we shall.” We laughed.

2 hours later.

This was by far one of the most beautiful nights I’ve ever had. There is not one moment when I’m with Dylan that I don’t love.

“Dylan, thank you so much for tonight. I literally cannot explain how thankful I am!”

“There is no need to be thankful,” He smirked. “You deserve it.”

It was now almost 10:00, so we paid for dinner and went home. For the second time today, Dylan dropped me off at my door.

“I love you so much” I said.

“I love you, too.” He replied. He pushed his lips against mine and pulled my hips against his body.

“I’ll see you tomorrow?” He asked.

“Of course!” I replied, I gave him one last kiss then walked inside with a huge smile on my face. I shut the door behind me, still smiling like an idiot. Mum and dad must have been asleep so I quietly walked up the stairs to my room and jumped on my bed.

“I can’t believe this is happening!” I giggled to myself like a little girl. My phone buzzed, it was a text from Dylan.

Goodnight, Chapman :) xx” it said.

“Goodnight, Sprayberry xxx”
