Weeks had passed and turned into months. Hoseok spent his time writing letters to Jackson, as well as visiting him. Whenever Jimin was free, he would take Hoseok on dates. Their nights were spent watching films with Taehyung. And later, Jimin would whisk Hoseok away to their bedroom. Jimin had moved in with them, and Hoseok could not have been any happier.
Hoseok visited Youngjae's parents; he had been absolutely terrified. He felt so sure that they would blame him for their son's death. Yet, they did not. They were a lovely couple. They told Hoseok they were glad to know that in the end, Youngjae had found a friend that genuinely cared for him. They invited Hoseok to the funeral, and he attended along with Taehyung and Jimin. Hoseok cried with Youngjae's parent's and chatted with them about how sweet Youngjae was and how much he will be missed. It did help him come to terms with his friend's death, but he still felt guilt. Though he had realised that there really was nothing he could have done to protect Youngjae.
After a long day walking through a park with Jimin, Hoseok crashed onto the sofa exhausted.
"Hoseok?" Jimin called as he entered the apartment. "There are some letters here for you."
"Oh, thanks." Hoseok ripped the letters open. The first was from Jackson. The other was from prison. "Jimin, what is this?"
Jimin took the letter from Hoseok. His eyes widened as he read. "It's a visiting order. That dick! He really thinks that you would want to see him?!"
"Jungkook?" Hoseok frowned.
"Yeah." Jimin threw the letter onto the coffee table. He sat down beside Hoseok. "Don't worry about it, babe."
"What do you think he wants?"
"Probably wants to make you get him out or, he just wants to mess with you."
Hoseok stared at the letter; he could not deny that he was curious. But, the last thing he wants is to see that jerk again. What if he is planning something though? Hoseok snuggled into Jimin's arms. Maybe Jimin was right, he should forget it.

Hoseok sat in the visiting room, nervously biting his lip. He watched as families and prisoners hugged and chatted excitedly. For Hoseok, however, this would not be a happy reunion. He felt incredibly guilty for not telling Taehyung or Jimin that he intended to visit Jungkook. He knew they would not understand. He had to see Jungkook, to find out if he was planning anything. Even if he were, Jungkook probably would not tell Hoseok, but he had to try at least.
"Hoseok!" Jungkook sat at the table across from Hoseok. He grabbed his hand, a warden tapped Jungkook's arm, and he let Hoseok go. "How are you?"
Hoseok watched at Jungkook. He looked so different now. The cocky arrogance seems to have left him. He slumped in his chair, his eyes red. Had he been crying? Hoseok wondered.
"I'm fine," Hoseok mumbled. "No thanks to you."
Jungkook winced at Hoseok's words. Hoseok saw it but, did not quite believe it. Jungkook was there, sat in front of Hoseok, looking like a scared little boy.
"Uh, I...I." Jungkook stuttered. "I'm sorry."
Hoseok's jaw dropped. "Excuse me?" He heard what he had said; he just needed to hear it again to be sure.
"I said I'm sorry, Hoseok."
"Have you apologised to your brother?"
Jungkook shifted in his seat a little. "Uh, no. He won't see me."
"I wonder why," Hoseok said sarcastically.
"Hoseok, I can't make excuses for it. I know that I shouldn't. I hate him Hoseok, so much. I always have."
"How can you hate your own brother?"
Jungkook shrugged.
"How long are you in here for?"
"Uh, six months."
"Wow." Hoseok shook his head. "As little as that for trying to ruin your brother's life?"
"He ruined mine!" Jungkook hissed. "And you cheated on me!"
Hoseok glared at Jungkook. "You lied to me about Jimin, and you tried to control me!"
"Okay, I'm sorry. It's not your fault. You just got caught up in it."
"Jungkook, what is wrong with you? Are you really that jealous of Jimin?"
Jungkook put his head down and whispered. "Yes. They said I have some illness...I think. They think I'm crazy, Hoseok!"
"Mm. Imagine that, huh?"
"Maybe I am." Jungkook continued. "But He made me this way! They want to put me in the hospital."
Hoseok raised his eyebrows. "Jungkook, don't play with me."
"I'm not. I don't know when. They said I need to be evaluated. Hoseok have you ever grown up with a family, feeling like you don't matter? Anything you do or say is always ignored. And your sibling is far more important than you? Jimin has always been perfect, but me? I was just a mistake. I don't want to run a stupid restaurant. I want other things. My parents always told me I should be more like Jimin; he is the golden child. He never does anything wrong."
Hoseok sighed. He knew exactly how all of that felt. He grew up with a family that was not his own, he never belonged with them and he definitely never did anything right.
"Jungkook." Hoseok stood. "I hope you can get the help you need. Just please, don't try to hurt Jimin or me again."
"Will you visit me Hoseok?" Jungkook asked as he hugged Hoseok. His desperate eyes were gazing into Hoseok's.
Hoseok sighed again. "I will try, as long as you promise to let us be."
"Yes, Yes! I promise. Thank you Hoseok!" Jungkook then whispered into Hoseok's ear. "Do you still have the pills?"
Hoseok pushed Jungkook away. He expected to see a smirk on Jungkook's face. But his expression was blank. A warden led Jungkook out of the room and towards his cell. Hoseok stood still, feeling dazed. Had he just seen the real Jungkook? What did he say? Do you still have the pills? Hoseok gritted his teeth, Jungkook knew damn well that he had those pills. Well, not anymore. Hoseok decided. It's time I got rid of them.
