After Christmas and new year, it was the day of the ball. Everyone was running around getting everything ready for tonight while me and the girls were picking out dresses for tonight in my bedroom. We are back at the main house, which of course is a big white house with lot's of rooms and a big garden with a tennis court and a big pool and we still have more room in the garden but it's a house we live in. I sighed as I looked at some of the dresses, more of them were bright coloured which I hated but there was a blue and white dress with no straps which looked really nice so I picked that one and the girls picked their dresses as well. After we picked the dresses we picked our shoes, necklaces and bracelets.  We went down to get some food before we decided to get ready. We grabbed random food from the kitchen nothing from the meal tonight and ran back up to my bedroom, River was getting ready in Seth's room with him so us girls could get ready together which is a thing I guess I'm not sure but we seem to do it a lot but whatever, We eat food then we got ready for the ball. Once we were ready it was time to go to the ball, I sighed as I made my way down with Dan, the oldest son has to take the bell of the ball to the ball as they say. 

"You look so cute in that dress," He told me as we headed into the ball 

"Thanks" I nodded at him

I took a deep breath in as everyone in the ball started to turn and looked at me. I put on my best fake smile on my face and greeted everyone one by one then I came face to face with my gran.

"Good afternoon, Lisa" She smiled at me

"Good afternoon, grandmother" I smiled then bowed my head a little

"Lisa, I have something to announce later, I can't wait for you to hear " She smiled 

"Of course grandmother, I can't wait" I smiled then continued to greet people

After greeting everyone I walked over to were all the guys and girls were standing. 

"Waw Lisa, you look amazing in that dress" Aiden smiled at me lightly

"Awe thanks Aiden" I smiled back 

"He is right, that's an amazing dress on you and it's nice to see you wear something other than black" Aaron nodded 

"Thanks, if it wasn't for my gran being here I would have been wearing black" I smiled back

"Awe, you need to wear different colours more often" River smiled at me

"Maybe for you but then again maybe not" I smiled back

"You couldn't just stop at maybe for you" River shook his head 

I couldn't help but just smile at him, then he put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. I lay my head on his shoulder lightly. 

"The party just got started and I'm already tired" I mumbled to him

"Want to dance?" He asked me 

"Sure" I smiled 

River took me onto the dance floor and we started dancing, Everyone started dancing and drunk wine and eat small food or talked until my grandmother got on the stage with the band, the band stopped playing which made everyone stop and turn to look at my grandmother while my grandmother cleared her throat.

"I would like to introduce my granddaughter Lisa, Lisa will you please come up here" She smiled kindly at me

I nodded and walked up to the stage and walked up to the stairs and stood beside my grandmother.

"Christopher will you please come on to the stage" My grandmother spoke 

This guy with short black hair, tanned skin, a tall man about nineteen years old walked up on to the stage, I looked up at him confused.

"I would like to introduce you to Lisa's future husband Christopher sanders" My grandmother announced 

I looked at her shocked "What! no" I spoke confusedly about what my grandmother just said

I looked at the guy confused and at my grandmother, I looked at River who looked at me shocked. Dan came over on to the stage and over to me while everyone clapped and cheered, Dan, walked over to me.

"Sorry Lisa, I had no idea this was going to happen, I will talk to her when the party is over" Dan whispered to me

"What the hell happened," I asked him 

"Just go to River, I will deal with everything else" Dan spoke

I walked off the stage an over to my friends and River. 

"Did you know about this Lisa?" Kelly asked me

"Of course not" I snapped then shook my head 

River just hugged me and whispered "Don't worry about it Lis, Just enjoy the rest of the party" 

I huged him back and nodded too then we all started to drink wine and enjoy the party but of course my mind couldn't stop thinking about the guy i'm meant to marry but no way I'm marrying him.
