We got a bus to the lake house everyone looked up and gulped in surprise.

"How rich are you?" River asked from beside me

"Not that rich" I shrugged a little  

We all unloaded the bus and got everything into the house.

"River, share a room with me," I told him while we walked up the stairs to my room

"Of course" He smiled 

We both walked into my room and put our stuff away, my room only has one bed but it was a king size bed which is good and it's a very comfortable bed as well. After we put everything away, we lay on our bed looking up at the ceiling. River lightly took my hand and squeezed it.

"How long do you think it will take them to work out we are a couple ?" River asked 

"They are a bit silly so maybe a couple of days or maybe longer" I smirked 

"Can't believe Trent worked it out" River chuckled 

"He's a smart stoner" I chuckled as well

"That he is" River shook his head in disbelieve

"Well we better go before they come looking for us" I sighed 

We both got up and headed down the stairs and into the sitting room where everyone was waiting apart from Dan. Me and River walked over to one of the sofa's and sat down on it side by side.

"Take it Dan isn't here yet" I sighed

"No, he should be here soon," Tyler told me

I rolled my eyes not believing him. 

"Well, shouldn't we be decorating the house for Christmas ???" Bandit asked

"Yeah, the decorations are down in the basement" I nodded 

"Alright guys we'll go get the stuff, Girl you go bake cookies then help decorate" Seth smirked 

"Sexist pig" Alice spoke

"He is but that sounds fun" I smiled "Come on girls lets go bake" 

I stood up and walked to the kitchen, the girls shrugged and followed me anyways.

"Why are we going to bake ?" Elly asked

"I don't feel like lifting heavy boxes" I smiled 

The girls just shrugged and we started to bake random Christmas treats like ginger men, gingerbread house, sugar cookies shaped like Christmas tree and snowman, smiling Santa cookies and even cinnamon cabin cookies and reindeer cupcakes. It took us a while to get all the baking done but the time we finished the guys had finished putting all the decision up but not on the tree though they left that for us to do but once the guys were done they came into the kitchen and stopped in shock.

"Did you lot bring a professional baker, when we weren't looking ?" River joked

"Man, did you see her leave?" I joked back 

"Yeah, she was hot!" River laughed 

"You should have seen when she bends down to put stuff into the over, she would have killed you" I laughed back 

This made everyone laugh after the laughter died down the guys looked at all the treats. 

"I didn't know you girls could bake never mind bake like this" Trent smiled happily at all the baked goods

I think he wants to eat it all up himself and if he is high enough he would as well. The front door opened then closed.

"Yo, sorry I'm late" I heard Dan shouted 

"Kitchen!" Alice shouted back

Dan walks into the kitchen then stopped and smiled.

"I'm glad your all here" He smiled 

"Of course we are, we would spend every day here if we could" Derek chuckled lightly

"True" Everyone agreed 

"Well we should do decorate the tree" I sighed 

I walked straight passed Dan and into the sitting room. I grabbed the box that was full of the Christmas tree decorations on it so I put it beside the tree then opened it just then a pair for hands started helping me pull everything out so I looked up to see dan helping me.

"Where is everyone else ?" I asked looking back down at the lighter I was trying to untangle

"I asked them to do something else because I want to talk to you," He told me while pulling out some purple tingle

 I sat on the floor and untangled the lights. 

"I didn't leave because I wanted too, mum told me if I left I wasn't allowed to come back," Dan told me

"You would have written or called or emailed ... something!" I snapped 

"I did, I wrote to you every day. I called but mum wouldn't let me talk to you, I showed up at the hospital but wasn't allowed to see you or ty, I didn't know about the school until they passed away the only reason I got everything was because of dad" Dan told me

"You only left to be an artist, why would mum be so pissed off about that ?" I asked 

"An artist isn't a real job to her, she always told me that" Dan sighed "She didn't want me to influence you or make you wanna be an artist as well"

"But you're a teacher, not an artist" I sighed

"I decided to be an art teacher because when I was in LA I had a studio and kids always asked if I could teach them to draw and I had so much fun teaching them so I decided to go to college and got my degree in teaching art" Dan smiled 

"Why weren't you at their funeral ?" I asked him

"I didn't know about it until the lawyer came two days before I showed up at the school" Dan looked down sadly "Dad left me with the info on the school and the money"

"I wanted to tell you but I had no way of telling you" I mumbled 

"I know, l" Dan sighed 

"I wanted to tell mum about me becoming a teacher but every time I tried she wouldn't listen every time she knows it was me she put the phone down" Dan sighed again

"I didn't think mum would be so mean" I bite my bottom lip then stood up and started putting the lights on the tree. 

Dan started to pout some tingle on the tree.

"She can be when things don't do her way, remember when you refused to put a dress on for her party ?" Dan lightly chuckled at the memory

 "Oh she was like a monster that day" I shook my head 

I picked up some ornaments and started putting them on the tree along with Dan as we talked. I missed Dan but I can't just forgive him like that, he will have to work on it. After the tree was done. Everyone came running through and put all the presents underneath the tree then we all headed outside for a lovely barbecue and a few drinks before climbing into bed and cuddling up with River.. well we didn't just cuddle if you get what I mean then fell asleep excited about Christmas tomorrow.
