Can You Hear Me? (Chat Noir/Reader)

Your P.O.V.

I heard yells coming from the street outside of the shop I sat in. I quickly pushed my laptop closed and stood up, looking out the clear glass window. People did the same, trying to see what was going on. I already pictured Alya with her phone, videotaping the whole situation.

I grabbed set my bag near my computer and walked outside, hoping no one would take my computer. I turned the corner and froze in place when I saw something horrific. At the end of the street, stood an Akumatized villain, terrorizing a group of small children.

My mind went blank and my body reacted on its own. I darted towards the kids and stood in front of them. I locked my eyes with the Akuma and watched as it grew an evil smirk and stalked forward. I didn't move a muscle, my only thought was to keep the group of 3 behind me safe.

"Pick on someone who can fight back!" I hissed, venom lacing my words. "Leave these children alone a go for someone else!"

"Gladly..." The villain smiled and picked me up by the throat. I coughed and squirmed it the Akuma's grip.

I kicked the Akuma in the chest with all the force I could put in my legs. It didn't phase him and a terrible pain shot through my legs, making me want to cry out. I coughed and wiggled more until I managed to slam my foot into the Akuma's forehead. The Akuma dropped me and his hands flew to his head.

I quickly turned and picked up the children, placing one on my back and two in my arms. The one in my right arm had started crying and was shaking, so I had to act fast. I quickly darted down the street and headed towards the cafe I had started at. I stopped at the door and caught my breath while setting all 3 of the children down. I ushered them inside and directed them over to one of the three workers.

The glass erupted and my ears began to ring. I fell down as the windows exploded and lots of screams echoed from people around me. I slowly sat up and inspected the damage. Ladybug and Chat Noir were outside the building. fighting off holograms of the villain. I quickly stood up and stumbled over to look for the children. One of their cries came from behind me and I rushed over to find it. The villain was rapidly coming to the small child, so I ran over and pulled the villain back by the shoulders.

It distracted him and he stumbled backward. I climbed on his back and forcefully kept pulling on his shoulders, trying to make the evil person back into the wall. The child trembled until Ladybug swooped in and grabbed the poor thing, carrying it out of harm's way. Chat Noir's hiss was heard, but I couldn't see as I was still attacking the attacker of the small child.

"Let me go! You will regret this!" The Akuma screamed, now trying to reach around it's back to pull me off.

"Never! I refuse to let you hurt those children!" I yelled back, slowly losing my grip on him.

The villain suddenly jerked to the side, sending me flying backward into something. It wasn't the wall behind me because what I landed on was soft and comfortable. I looked up and spotted Chat Noir. I blushed at this and quickly stood up, pushing my hand out to help the feline up. He smiled and used my hand to get up, brushing himself off before turning to me with a serious expression.

"You shouldn't be here. You need to go take cover so you don't get hurt, pur-incess." Chat Noir purred, pointing towards the doorway.

"No! I saved those kids and I'm going to keep them safe even if a whole army stands in my way! If they are safe, then I'm going to punch the lights out of that villain, because I want him to pay for what he did!" I argued, using my arms with hand motions for emphasis.

Chat Noir sighed and grabbed my hand dragging me out of the building. He pulled out his staff and held it in one hand before wrapping his other around my waist. He smiled a flirtatious smile and rolled my eyes. He clung to his staff and shot us towards the sky, reaching us to the top of a building. He jumped down on the roof and started running, I tried to stay with him but fell behind from the burning pain that pulsed in my legs.

Chat Noir noticed and picked me up as if I were a bride. I blushed and looked away, trying to make sure he didn't see my face explode in color. Once he reached where he was headed, he set me down and hid behind something. I hid beside him and looked down before gasping. Down near the museum was a large cage, full of little kids crying a sobbing. Parents were freaking out from behind a line of armed police officers. I hopped down a fire escape and hid behind a trashcan, still out of sight.

I spotted the Akuma, laughing at the kids' cries. What a monster! Torchering those kids like that! I growled and spotted a pacifier in his hands. A plan formed in my head quickly and I put it in motion. I waved over Chat Noir, who looked like he was trying to come up with a plan.

"I have a plan!" I mumbled, poking his side which caused him to look at me. "I need you to distract the Akuma. I'm going to have Ladybug, in the cage, get the children to be quiet. Then I'll snatch the keys, get her and the children out and then you guys can defeat the Akuma!" Chat Noir nodded and smiled at the plan. He quickly ran out in the middle of the area and began yelling puns, making him 10 times more annoying. I turned and spotted Ladybug in the cage.

I dived down and quickly went over to the cage side. I glanced over to make sure Chat Noir was still distracting the villain before whispering to the spotted hero. "Ladybug! Hey! I need you to get the children to be quiet! I'll explain why I'm here later after you defeat the Akuma!" LAdybug nodded and turned, shushing the children.

I smiled and started going over to the guards. I has halfway over to the guard when I heard yelling, and I turned around noticing the guards had noticed me. I screatched and backed up before yelling to Chat. "Chat Noir! Use your Catacylsm against the bars! Get Ladybug out and the children free! I don't care what you have to do free them!" My yells caught the attatention of the Akuma and he strated coming towards me. I smiled and waved, dodging a officer from behind me.

The Akuma rushed towards me and pinned me to the wall. I hissed as my head slammed into the brick. Dots filled my vision and I struggled against the grip of the Akuma. I heard a muffled yell from somebody and a loud banging. The Akuma was then ripped from my and thrown backwards while I slammed into the pavement bellow me. I hit my head again and started blacking out.

"{Your Name}! Can you heard me? Are you alright?" Cried a blurry black figure. I didn't reply and and just let myself fall into darkness

Third Person P.O.V.

Chat Noir watched you pass out. He knelt beside you and carefully picked you up, clutching you in his shaking arms. He continued to call out your voice, but you weren't responding. Tears streamed down Chat's face as his body shuddered as he began to sob.

"Open your eyes!" Chat called, shaking your body. "Please!"

A grunt escaped your lips and you started moving, which made Chat sigh in relief. He hugged you close and watched as Ladybug yelled lucky charm. But he didn't stay to talk, he was taking you to the hospital, and fast.
