"I bet you 5 dollars Alya is gonna bail." You turned to Chat Noir on on your roof and gave the black cat a cheeky smile, knowing well enough that you didn't have to bet.
"But that's not enough!" You giggled as he replied, happy about the time you were spending with the cat-boy.
"Then I'll give you enough." You poked his side and stared into his eyes. They gleamed against the beautiful sunset as he stared back at you with a smile that was almost bigger than his heart.
"Ca, nine should be enough," Chat looked away and as his smirk grew to the size of a watermelon on steroids.
"Stupid cat..." You sighed and put your hand on top of his. "But I have to go. My show is on tonight! Dancing With The Stars isn't going to watch itself!"
Chat smiled at you as you hopped up and twirled. Your face glowed with happiness and glee from the day going perfectly. Your {Hair Color} hair grasping the light as if you were the model. You swayed back and forth before spinning again and walking overt o Chat. He looked at you, giving you a soft grin. You smiled back and placed a kiss on his head and lightly scratched under his chin.
"See you later Agreste. You're welcome to come over if you'd like." He nodded with a dreamy and tranced look. He always looked that way when you gave him affection the way you would to a cat.
As you entered your house, something felt off. You glared into the darkness and carefully made your way across the room, staying as quiet as possible. You carefully made your way into the kitchen and grabbed the nearest thing you could feel, which happened to be a steak knife.
A sudden soft glow came from the kitchen table and footsteps were heard. Another light came from the living room and more footsteps echoed off the walls. You walked slowly to the first light, which turned out to be a candle. An arm carefully wrapped itself around you and removed the knife from your hand.
You whimpered and struggled against the unknown person's grip. You were about to open your mouth a bite down on the person's arm, but they let go and spun you in a circle. You were totally frozen in fear at this point and were too confused to know what was going on. The stranger led you over to the candle where it showed his face.
"Adrien?" You asked, reaching out to touch his face.
"Fur-prise?" Adrien asked, nervousness lacing his voice.
"You stupid cat! You scared me!" You poked Adrien's nose and turned away from him.
Adrien pushed out his bottom lip into a pout and rushed after you. You walked into the kitchen and placed the steak knife back to where it belonged and turned on the lights. You blew out the second candle and went to the other but Adrien stepped in front of you. He had a look of sorrow as he looked into your eyes and then to the floor.
"I'm sorry... I was just trying to pur-tty romantic. I was trying to make you happy or something. Guess I failed." Adrien spoke awkwardly as he rubbed his neck and chuckled oddly at his failed attempt to impress his beloved.
"Oh, you paw thing." You said, placing a hand on the boy's shoulder. He smiled at your pun and kissed your forehead. Your face turned a slightly pinker color as he did so.
"Come on. You and I have a show to watch." You smiled and followed the feline boy to the couch. He grabbed a black fuzzy blanket and dragged it over to you. You sat down carefully after grabbing the remote controller, and Adrien draped the black blanket over you. He purposely placed it on your head so you couldn't see and he walked out of the room.
"Kitty? Where did you go?" You asked, slightly fearing you may have made him run off in embarrassment which you had done 1 too many times during your 2 years of dating.
"Right here, mon amour," Adrien replied, walking back into your living room.
Adrien walked over and sat next to you. He smiled at you as you lay your head down on his shoulder. Adrien had set down a bowl of popcorn and glass of {Favorite Drink}. He was such a gentleman. You clicked the button on the remote and the television flickered to life. Instantly, a show popped up with commercials from the last show you had been watching the night before with the Agreste.
You pressed the button until you reached your show and smiled contently as it was about to begin. You looked at Adrien and he looked at you before taking his chance and kissing you softly and quickly. His ears turn pink a slight bit and your face blew up in color. You then just stared at the boy as stared at you. It wasn't a creepy 'I'm a stalker and I'm watching you,' stare, but rather a comforting 'I'll always be there to protect and hold you,' stare.
The screen flashed behind you two, starting the beginning on the show. You were so tranced you missed the beginning announcements. You shrugged and turned as you watched the first 2 dancers glide across the dance floor using beautiful and graceful moves. Moving in sync as they stared at each other, hitting each move better than before and matching the beat of the song that played behind them. Fans on the sides of the stage cheered and clapped, praising the couple for there lovely dancing.
"You know, I could never be on that show." Adrien suddenly spoke, breaking the silence that had formed between you.
"Why do you say that kitty? You're amazing at dancing!" You replied, snuggling closer if even possible to the boy you loved.
"Because it's called Dancing With The Stars. I couldn't dance with stars. I could only dance with my star..." Adrien paused, making sure he had your complete attention. "You."
You smiled and blushed as he spoke. You covered your face and held in a fangirl moment from how romantic he was being. A small snicker was heard from his other shoulder and a faint 'Nice one, kid' that presumably came from Plagg.
"Oh Adrien, you flirt. You know very well I can't dance to save my life." You smiled, looking at Plagg who was staring blankly at the T.V. screen now.
"Yes, you can. And if you can't, I can show you." You stared at Adrien, puzzled by his words.
Adrien began getting up, forcing you to snap back into reality along with Plagg. You got up and watched Adrien stretch. He walked into your kitchen for a small moment before coming back with a rose. He bowed slightly as he walked in front of you on the couch and reached out a hand.
"May I have this dance, pur-incess?" He asked, a smile gracing his lips as he knew all too well you wouldn't reject him.
"Oh course, chaton." You whispered, letting him stand you up.
He laced his left hand your right as he wrapped his right around your waist. You smiled and placed your left on his shoulder. He then ever-so-slowly began to move back and forth, making sure you knew what he was doing. You finally caught the hang of things and danced gracefully with Adrien across your living room. He then twirled you around and swayed with you back and forth. Suddenly stopped and grabbed something from his pocket. He placed the rose he had been holding behind your ear. He opened a small box that had a beautiful, glistening silver ring that had a paw prints traveling around it.
"Adrien... It's amazing..." You gasped, eyes watering slightly.
"It's a promise ring... I promise to always love and protect you {Your Name}." Adrien placed the ring on your finger and kissed your cheek as you hugged him tightly.
"Thank you."
This was fun to make! I felt it was quite romantic and sweet.
