Your shoes clicked against the hard pavement. You rolled your eyes as your name was called from Dean, the kid who asked you to be his Valentine. Now, you would have excepted if it were just about anybody else, but it just had to be Dean.
Dean was that one boy who went around breaking every girl's heart if she didn't know his background. How did you know? Marinette, your best friend, had her heart crushed by him. Of course, this happened straight after she was over the Agreste child, and she was mad. Adrien was still great friends with the bluenette, but they would never be anything more.
"Leave her alone!" Someone hissed from behind you, the voice sounding male. It was Adrien, your best friend as well as Mari. You blushed at the thought of him.
You knew it was weird crushing on your best friend's old crush, but you couldn't help it. Especially after you learned about his double life and about Mari's double life. It was an accident, really, when you walked in on Mari changing back. But you had been trying to figure out the feline's identity, so when you watched the cameras you knew it was Adrien. He walked behind the dead end as Chat Noir and exactly three seconds later he came back as the model everyone loved (for his looks, of course. Except you.).
"Calm down kitty, don't need to get your tail in a twist!" You giggled and whispered, punching Adrien's shoulder slightly.
"I wasn't! I just don't like him stalking you!" Adrien crossed his arms and stuck his nose in the air, and pushing out his bottom lip, showing his way of pouting to you. You rolled your eyes.
"He wasn't stalking me, chaton, he was merely asking me to be his Valentine. Now quit pouting before I make your bugaboo hang you upside down." You snickered as his face lit up red.
"She's not my bugaboo! I told you that I was over ladybug. Even as Chat Noir! Anyways, I have my eyes on a different girl." Adrien smiled and pumped his fist in the air.
You giggled at this moment, hiding the frown you wanted to portray. You didn't want to know who he actually liked, but he was your friend and he deserved to be with the right girl even if that wasn't you. You couldn't have him crushing on the biggest jerk in all of France, right?
As you opened your mouth to ask, something whizzed past your face. Adrien tackled you and rolled a bit past a car. You hid the blush that formed on your face and strained your neck to see what was shot. There was now a puddle of acid laying right next to were you had stood before. It let out a horrible hissing sound and you turned to Adrien, who was also looking at the red puddle.
"Go." You exclaimed, pushing the teen boy to the side. He gave you a worried look, but you brushed it off and ran off. You darted down an alley and pointed towards the Akuma for Ladybug, who asked you for directions.
~~~~~~~~~~
"Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope." Muttered Adrien as he screwed his face into a weird position. "I will never date Chloe! Even if my life depended on it!"
"Okay! Calm down cat boy! I didn't spray you with water now did I?"
"Oh shut up!" Adrien hissed, wrinkling his nose.
This caused you to laugh. Hard. You started laughing so hard you had to hold onto the side of the park bench that you were sitting in so you wouldn't fall on the cement in front of you. You placed your hands on your stomach and laughed. Suddenly, you snorted, which caused Adrien to start laughing until you both landed on the ground next to each other, laughing your heads off.
"So who do you like then? I guessed everyone in our class except Mari, Alya, and me. I mean, I know it isn't Mari because..." You moved your hand for emphasis. "And Alya is dating Nino, your best friend, so that would be extremely awkward."
Adrien stopped laughing. He just stared at the sky, seeming to be lost in thought. You shot into instinct mode of thinking you said something wrong, so you sat up and began to open your mouth. Before you could even squeak out a word, Adrien sat up and took off running. You sat in place, upset because you believed you said something wrong.
That night, you sat in your room, sketching. You had to draw a picture of two people in hopelessly in love. So what did you sketch? Adrien and that one girl who bottles up her emotions and stays stubborn... You! You didn't exactly draw Adrien, but a boy with similar features to him, and a girl with similar features to you. You had to show the whole class your drawing so why in the name of art would you draw Adrien directly?!
A small tap came from your window, but you were so deep in thought that you didn't notice it. You didn't notice anything until you felt something behind you. You jerked back in your chair and nailed the figure in the stomach, sending him flying towards your bed and on the floor. It was a self-defense move that Adrien had shown you.
"Chat?! Omigosh! Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!" You squeaked and ran over to his side. He groaned and sat up.
"You have learned well, student!" He smiled and sat up. "I wanted to say sorry for running off earlier. Uh, I have something to show you."
You nodded, slightly confused, but followed anyway. Chat sat on your balcony railing, an odd noise coming from him. You gasped at the sight that sat in front of your beautiful {Eye Color} eyes. There was a blanket with two candles on the side. A basket sat in the middle and sat a small note. You carefully picked it up and read it.
I ran away because I was scared.
I was afraid to say my feelings, not even if I was dared.
But I can't hold it in any longer.
Because they keep getting stronger.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I can't help
falling for you.
Be my Valentine?
You looked towards Adrien, who avoided eye contact and had a bright red face. Tears came down your face and you ran to him and hugged him. He was slightly surprised at the action but wasted no time to return the hug.
"Yes. Yes. Yes!" You said, pulling away and locking your eyes with Adrien. He smiled a kissed you softly, but sweetly. Ending way to fast, Adrien stopped kissing you and pulled away. His face was now redder than probably anything you could find with the color. He was embarrassed and took a step back, but you grabbed his bell and kissed him.
"Good." He mumbled into the kiss.
It was perfect. A perfect Valentine's day that would lead to many more.
There you guys have it! Number 4! I know I haven't posted on a schedule, but that's because I haven't planned one out. When inspiration hits me, I write. Simple as that.
