I grip his soft -but deeply scarred- hand tighter, he tenses but I gently rub my thumb back and forth against his big hand, he relaxes and looks at me. We smile at each other, I catch that lovely sparkle in his eye that makes my day perfect.
"I love you so much grayson, I wish you loved me back" I say, he frowns.
I stare at him, I lean in and- "hey james..I-I think I'm ready.." he quietly says, that being his normal voice.
I nod and I start walking into the school with him, "oh look, fag #1 and fag #2 are still alive!" I wince as Grayson finger nails dig into the side of my pale hand.
"Surprised they haven't killed themselves het, especially Grayson!"
His finger nails, pierce my skin but I have to be there for him, I can't let go, I won't let go.
"Fuckin kill yourself faggot!"
I yelp and snatch my poor hand away, the side of my hand is bloody and red, it's stinging and burning.
Grayson looks down to my small hand and he looks at me, regret covering his face, "I-I-I'm so sorry." His eyes fill with tears as he runs off I tot he crowd of judging students.
I run after him, but finally give up once the bell rang.
