"Bye gray! Bye e! Love you babe, bye!" My dad walks out and the door closes behind him.

The calming patter of rain sounds throughout the house.

Ethan walks in and open the fridge, my head slowly turns as I watch him. He grabs water from the fridge and as he's walking away he throws me a peace sign and walks up the stairs, taking two at a time (👀).

I get up and walk toward my dads office.

I lift my arm up and grab the tiny key, I hold it in between my pointer finger and thumb, I rub the metal then I put it into the key hole.

I push open the door quietly and walk inside, I shut the door the same way I opened it and locked it behind me.

I look through all of my dads stuff, I look in desks, under tables, boxes.

Then my hand feels something cold and hard.

I open the box completely and pick up the gun, it feels heavy in my hand.

A small smile slowly makes its way to my pink, full lips.

I put it back in the box and make my way out of the office, I unlock the door and lock it back up, put the key back in its place and walk up the stairs.

I open my bedroom door and walk inside, I put the box in my closet and close it.

"Gray? What are you doing?"
