Chapter 32

In order to avoid interfering, Izumi shut off her laptop. A single earphone in her ear for communicating Ella.

Izumi jumped off the roof before she bolted towards the forest.

She knows she's safe at this side but that didn't make her relax. Instead her guard upgraded as she doesn't actually feel safe. The roof was the best fortress in her opinion.

And Izumi is accurate. As expected.

Abruptly she stopped, frantically searching somewhere to hide. The root of the big tree caught her eye, and she did not hesitate to hid there. Peeking a little to eye her current nemesis.

Assuming from the bone structure and stance of the person, it is surely a man. Maybe in middle twenties. He wore a magician costume, the top hat is big for his head and the mask on his face isn't avoidable. Izumi can't identify whether it was a mask or it was truly his face. That doesn't concern her too much as there where a lot of things she should mind, like how she can successfully hide from him.

That did not work well for her of course.

"Well hello there~"

This world really fucking hates me.

She's so done.

Knowing that her presence was sensed, Izumi did not risk it. She stopped her breath to avoid making a sound. Her presence might be known but it doesn't mean she was spotted.

Then something came into her mental barriers that startled her.

"STUDENTS YOU ARE ALLOWED TO FIGHT BACK!"

Her being ultimately alert and focused on the enemy, the sudden interference caught her off guard.

Izumi let out a yelp.

And of course, the villain noticed.

Damn right what I need.

Seeing that he was approaching. Izumi swiftly came out. She grabbed a throwing knife and analyzed the best place to attack the enemy. Her excellent marksmanship managed to graze his shoulder. If it wasn't for his quick reaction, that knife would've land on his heart.

His eyes widened in amusement.

This girl is aiming to kill. Without hesitation.

Unusual for a child aiming to be a hero.

"THE STUDENT CALLED 'KACCHAN' YOU'RE BEING TARGETED! BECOME EXTRA CAREFUL IN ENGAGING BATTLE!"

Those words reached Izumi's ear. Her eyes widened slightly. The villains where here for a purpose! But how did they find them!? And Why Bakuhoe?!

The villain quickly caught up her seconds of distraction and immediately took advantage of it.

Damn!

"Girl, when you are fighting. Don't wander off."

Those where the words she heard before everything went black.

Everything is dark.

It was just dark and small.

Like she was locked in a small box. She can't even move freely.

Izumi groggily eyed her eyes around, hoping to see a small flicker. She was left dissapointed.

Knocking, pushing, Izumi did her best to resist but the small box didn't even budge.

It might be some kind of a quirk and she knows everything she'll do will be left in vain.

The feeling of the familiar hopelessness crawled into her.

Damn, she fucking hate it. She hates feeling helpless.

Izumi stopped herself from tearing up. No, she can't afford to be weak. Just calm down and wait, close your eyes and enhance your senses.

Doing it, she can hear a faint noise. A noise that is muffled.

5, no it was 7 people. Or what she just assumes. She doesn't exactly know the numbers, she can only hear that much.

4 are familiar and she doesn't know what to feel.

Izumi can feel that the box she was in was on the air. Like she was thrown.

Then it stopped.

Izumi frozed.

Her eyes widened. Shoulder tensed up.

Intense emotions came in to her. Everything is burning inside her.

Then the feeling that she was being pulled out soon came after.

"GIVE THEM BACK!"

"KACCHAN! IZUMI!" that was Izuku... Izumi knows

Her eyes adjusted to the sudden brightness. Izumi saw a person beside her. As she saw the man, the familiar feeling of burning indulged her again.

No way.

Izumi can see his surprise. He clearly did not expect her to come out the marble. So, it was not them that let her out.

It was the reaction she felt that let her out.

"Don't Come, Deku." that was the sentence Bakugo said at the same time that she was let out.

Seeing all of the villains surprise.

She took the chance to push Bakugo out.

"Go. Never ever come after me."

Those words rang to Izuku, Shoto and Katsuki's ears.

But the thing they can never forget.

Is her tone of indifference, completely  devoid of emotions.

And her eyes.

Those eyes that spoke to them.

The portal closed and Izuku let out a shriek.
