Chapter 29

Gabby's P.O.V

*Same day*

After we all got dry from being in the pool for hours, we decided that the shocking hot weather was drying us up, so we went to the apartment, took a shower, and changed into newer clothes before heading to the store.

"We should get water balloons!"

"OH MY GOD YASSSSS!" Michael yelled in his best American accent. He slung his arm around Kate's shoulders, kissing her forehead.

The store came into view; we ran in and got a bunch of balloons. Calum bought them, which led into the girls and I arguing we could've bought them. "CALUM THOMAS HOOD!" I groaned. He wouldn't budge, even though we were already out of the store.

"Calllllllllllllllllllllum!" Lillian whined.

"What, babe?" He asked, looking at her.

He called her babe.

Calum Hood called Lillian babe.

I'm sensing something.

All eight of us were walking with no sense of where we are going. A old tire store, I assume, came into view. There was a glass door open, and a 'Ice 99 cents' sign on the ledge of the window inside. From curiosity, we walked inside. There was rolled up paper in a cardboard box in one corner, and most of the ceiling was starting to fall onto the floor. Michael spotted a old shopping cart, so he jumped in it and was pretty much stuck. We were all laughing our asses off as Ashton put a old black crate on top of Michael's head. Luke started spinning Michael around in the empty store, as we all took turns.

I took the buggy outside just as Calum happens to hop in. Since I'm not much of a strong person, Luke helped me turn Cal around in circles, either one of his arms around mine.

"Hey guys! I found a watering hose!" Hazel laughed.

She took the empty balloons and filled them water, having the help from Kate to tie them. Lillian took a water balloon and threw it at me. Not only did the water hit me, but it also hit Luke and Calum. They were laughing so hard.

Soon the water balloon fight started getting worse and cute at the same time. By worse I mean everyone had like, 15 balloons in their defense, but yet it was cute because each of the guys were protecting us. Michael hugged Kate the whole time that his back was getting drenched in water, Ashton covered Lillian whenever a balloon flew their way, Cal protected me, and Luke protected Hazel. For some reason, it stung seeing Luke protecting Hazel. That should be me; he just had his arms around mine minutes earlier - stop Gabby! You don't like him more than friend.

Hazel's P.O.V

Just to my luck, Michael threw a balloon at me just at Luke left to get the baseball bat. Ashton sprung from where was standin in front of Lillian and jumped in front of me, getting hit with the water. While Ashton was gone, Kate tried to throw a baloon at her but Calum ditched Gabby, also getting soaked in water. Both Kate and Michael smirked, each throwing water balloons at Gabby. Luckily, Luke came in fron her her with the baseball bat and hit the water balloon, the water getting everywhere.

We bursted into a fit of giggles that quickly died down, leaving us to steady breathing and taking deep breathes.

"I'm hungry."

"Then lets go Nandos."

My eyes grew as I shook my head violenty, already going impationt. The girl's and I haven't gone there yet and it was literally the first thing we were going to do once we landed in the UK....
