Chapter 7

Kate's P.O.V

The rain stopped, finally! We helped the boys fix whatever went wrong with their car, thanks to calling Kiefer he helped us. We all exchanged numbers, saying goodbye, and watching them pull of out the parking lot. Life seems so surreal - we just got the Janoskians numbers! Luke was soo much more hotter in person than videos. Well, they were all more hotter in person, but you know?

"Well, should we all go to the store for paint?" Gabby wandered.

"Yeah."

Hazel called up a taxi while we cleaned up the living room, grabbing the stuff we need (wallets, bags, etc.). The yellow taxi pulled up, signaling we should hurry. Haze, Lils, and I sat in the back while Gabby took the passengers. Since the passengers seat was on the right side instead of the left, Gabby made a fool of herself.

"Where to?"

"What's the best store that sells paint?"

"Becker's." (Idk I just came up with the name. Turns out it really is a store...)

"Take us to Becker's then!"

It took us about 5 minutes to get there, so we wall pitched on the payment of the ride. The store was just like Lowes back at home.

A employee lead us straight to where the paint was. The aisles were covered in little slips of paper in every color. Black to the brightest colors possible. All of us walked off to different colors, taking our time.

I chose a couple different colors of dark purple and black. I like dark colors, okay? Gabby was next to me, picking out brighter colors of purple. Hazel was across, looking at red. Lillian grabbed so many different colors. She still doesn't know what color yet?

Gabby and I gathered around Lils, waiting for Hazel. "I'm kinda cold." Gabby mumbled.

"I would've of gave you my blazer but its at the house," Lillian responded.

After what seemed like forever, Hazel came to our group.

"I picked my color!"

"Well, what should we do now?"

"We can go look for beds. We all kinda need them."

"Buut, we should get new carpet first."

"Why would we need that first?"

"We'll get the carpet done, paint the walls, then get the beds so they won't be in the way. At least we can look at carpet and pick what we like."

I nodded, understanding. "There's carpet here, so why not?"

Lils and Gabby lead Haze and I to the carpet, taking our time. I settled on plush white carpet with Gabby, Hazel picked a grey kinda color, while Lillian selected new wooden floors. "Well, what now?"

"Uhh, there's a mall that's down the street."

"Lessgo!"
