I haven't heard from Jason since that day, he did call once or twice for Eve but that's about it And maybe it's for the best cause this wasn't even healthy anymore. Ryan came home last night and was still asleep while Eve was watching tv and snacking on a apple. I in the meanwhile did laundry, cleaned the kitchen from breakfast, loaded the dishwasher and picked up some of Eve's toys.
It was a beautiful day so i decided to take Eve in the pool she had been nagging about it for such a long time. I walked up stairs and got her little bathing suit out of the closet as i got my self ready, before walking to ryan's room.
I jumped on his bed earning a groan from him. 'Don't groan at me boy! Now get your ass out of bed and come swim with me and your niece' i said pulling the covers from his head. 'Fine if you let me get up easy' he said sitting up a little. I nodded my head and left his room taking the towels and Eve's bathing suit downstairs.
'Eve, do you wanna go swim?' i said as i looked at her smile big 'YESS' she yelled running towards me grabbing her bathing suit putting it on. I laughed and turned off the tv walking outside with Eve closely behind me. As we reached the pool i put on her floaties as she saw Ryan walk thru the door.
'Uncle Ry are you gonna come swim with me?' she said excitedly as she entered the pool. I know what you might think omg she is letting her alone in the pool, yes because the deep end is off limits and she knows it. She jumped in playing with the toys that were in the pool from last time.
'So have you heard anything from Jason anymore?' Ryan said as he took a seat next to me on the lounge set. 'No, he only texted me once saying that he can't come visit Eve because he is busy' i said putting air quote's on the word busy. 'So what are you gonna do now? I mean does she ask about her dad and why he doesn't come and get her anymore?' 'Sometimes like the other day she said that her dad doesn't love her anymore and that she is happy that she has me and you to love her'
'Well i'll go show her that i love my little niece so much she'll get annoyed' he said as he jumped into the pool splashing Eve.
I decided to text Jason telling him what Eve told me the other day, even though he doesn't come visit her that much anymore he has the right to know what she said.

This boy istg is getting on my last nerves, he wants to get to know Eve and spend time with her. But now he is so called to busy to even just facetime her and ask her how her day went. if he fucks things up with Eve i don't blame her he needs to be here and he isn't. Even his brother calls Eve from time to time to ask how she is doing and the other day he called she told him her daddy doesn't come around anymore so she only has two uncle's and a mommy. My heart broke into a million pieces hearing my daughter say that.
