you do plan to kill edd and tom- but with matt its simply different.
you just cannot take the life of this man yourself.
you dont know why- but it just seems way too easy for that.
and youre not easy.
youre not someone who will go with something just because its convenient.
you need to make sure you can manipulate.
and put your training into effect.

youre not as close to edd or tom as you are with matt.
you dont care if you kill them.
but with matt..
theres something so special about the thought of making him crumble.
of making him really end it and show how weak he is to the world.
thats such a ... fun idea.
you want to please your mind with the fact that yes, you can make him do this.
you can make anyone do this.
but matt is just a test run for the future.
because you know youll need the skill eventually.

so,
lets just put him through as much pain as you can create.
not necessarily physical pain-
thatd be too easy. expected.
you dont want to hurt him with your hands- then youd just be killing him for him.

be insensitive.
ignore him.
mock him.
hurt his feelings.
hurt his vanity.
bring him down.
laugh in his face when he cries.
encourage his self harm.
say he doesnt deserve you.
this is a perfect plan.
