The youngest avengers (a petty story)

Part 1 goodbye

Betty Cooper was sitting at her window contemplating on what was to come in her life. She had discovered she had powers that scare her she can't control them she sent and email to Tony Stark herself explaining the issue as she called it he replied back saying she will immediately move to New York her cover being she has a STARK internship she did not want to leave she was told she would be staying in the avengers head quarters.

Betty was sitting crying at her window still when she herd a light knock on the door followed by Veronica Lodge. As soon as veronica saw Betty she immediately ran over to her best friend bringing Betty into her embrace "hey B what's wrong" veronica asks Betty looks up at her then looks back at the window "B" veronica asks wondering what an earth made her best friend so distraught Betty looks back over at veronica she quickly wipes her tears taking a big breath "a moving to New York I got a Stark internship" Betty says a smile comes on veronicas face "that's amazing B why are you sad?" Veronica asks while rubbing her BFF's back "I known V I should be so happy witch I am but... it means..... I have to say bye to you Archie and...Jughead" veronica lifts up Bettys chin whipping the tear drops of her check Betty looks up at Veronica "B its going to be hard but you will get through it we can facetime every day with Archie as well but B I hate to say this but *sighs* you and Jughead weren't going to last no teen relationships usually do as much as you guys would be willing to die for each other now most of it usually ends" Betty looks up at Veronica as much as she hated what she said she knew it was true and she had to say goodbye before tomorrow "come on let's go say bye before you leave i will organise an event at la bon nue (please tell me how to spell that i have know idea how to) ok " she says standing Betty of her window still Betty nods whipping her tears away.

later that day Betty was getting ready for the event the door bell rings she immediately runs down and gets it she opens the door and a white smile spreads across her face as she sees Jughead Jones "ready to go" he says pulling out a hand for her to take it she giggles while gladly taking it she hops on the back of his motor cycle *time skip* they walk into la bon nui politely being greeted by veronica "welcome Bughead to our goodbye party" veronica says giving them a warm smile "who's leaving?" Jughead asks confused looking at veronica with his arm around Bettys waist. Betty holds back her tears looking down veronica give a simple smile "you'll have to wait and see"

The night went well until it got to the part what everyone was waiting for the announcement on who's leaving Veronica walks up to the stage "well were finally up to the part of tonight were i know everyone was waiting for who exactly is the one leaving" veronica says the room fills with whispers Betty gulps standing next to Jughead Betty clears her throat everyone's attention immediately reverts back to Veronica "Betty come up here for second" betty breaths heavily before making her way up to the stage gasps fill the room but Betty tries to revert herself from making eye contact with the one person she would know would get her the most but she could feel Jugheads strong gaze on her veronica turns to smile at Betty trying to reassure her "Betty our BFF and Nancy drew has been offered an internship by Tony Stark himself in New York so she will be leaving tomorrow and that's why i made this event to say farewell to Betty Cooper i know we all miss her" by the end Betty was in tears she looks at Jughead who immediately storms out tears running down his face Betty chases him out whispers following she gets out of pops and grabs his wrist spinning him around "Betty if your going to say this wont change anything you know pretty damn well it will" Betty cups his face in her palms tears streaming down both their faces "I'm sorry Jug its a huge opportunity you know i have to take it you can come visit me" they look into each others eyes "can't you wait until school is done i need you" Betty sighs knowing she can't keep the truth from him maybe he will understand then "look Jug i know this will sound crazy but the reason i am really moving there is recently i discovered i have powers i can't control them and it scares me Jug so I'm moving to the Avengers head quartets were i can train and learn about my powers" Betty whispers Jughead just stands there in shock he couldn't believe what he was hearing Betty sighs "it's ok you don't believe me but that's the truth you can't tell anyone its to secret Jug" Betty whispers pressing her forehead against his "I believe you Betts it's just a lot to take in....i think it is probably for the best that you leave i know this will sever i relationship but even when we both move on and have family i want you to know that deep down in my heart i will always love you, you will always be my serpent queen" Betty as much as she wanted to say that's not true she knew it was "I love you to Jug and you will forever be in my heart"

The rest of the night she said her goodbyes and her and Jughead went back to her house for one last night together he helped her pack the shed a lot of tears falling asleep for possibly the last time in each others arms.
