Part 4 Powers

Betty and MJ immediately clicked like they were meant to be best friends, she was sitting at lunch with Peter, Ned and MJ she soon learned who Flash was she understood what Peter said, Ned and MJ noticed how Peter and Betty looked at each other Betty denied anything when MJ confronted her because she didn't want to just forget Jughead for she was still in love with him or that's what she told her self but Peter was yet to know this he knew she had a boyfriend but didn't know they were in love.

Once Betty got back home she was told to go to Tony's office she entered "ahh Mr Stark you said wanted to talk to me" she asks he points at a couch were she goes and sits down "now Betty what are these powers you have" Tony asks Betty takes a deep breath in nervously playing with her fingers she was scared, scared of hurting someone "it's like part of me i always new was there this....this darkness and i can't control it and it scares me Mr Stark I've had darkness before but....it was never this bad" Betty says tears rolling down her checks she sniffles a bit "would you mind if we did a few tests on you so we can understand this more......maybe you can show us" Tony suggests Betty looks over at him shocked "i can do the tests Mr Stark but i can't show you them.....i-i don't want to hurt somebody" she says she was truly fearful of hurting someone she was breathing quickly Tony put a hand on her back "look will do the tests and see were it how from there" he says with a reassuring smile she returns it with a slight smile she gently nods "ok follow me" Tony says Betty compiles' following him to one of the many labs. They enter the lab were Bruce was "could you please lay down on that bed right there" Bruce asks Betty does what he says and lays down

"i hope your no scared of needles" Tony jokes Betty shakes her head

"ok so powers don't just come unexplained so has there been any triggers maybe a major event you mentioned there were a lot of murders were you came from anything significant?" Bruce asks putting a needle in her arm testing her blood, Betty takes a deep breath she knows exactly what the trigger was "I've stared into the eyes of pure evil.....my father was a cereal killer and threatened the whole town including cutting me off and making me hurt the people i love he said all sinners have to die and i watched a kid from the Richest family in Riverdale there not just rich there messed up i....watched a video of his father killing him me and my friends uncovered the murderer my half brother was murdered by an imposter who claimed to be him if that's any help" Bruce and Tony stand there in shock "uhhhh that is very helpful thank you...im sorry it's a lot you must have gone through a lot" Bruce says Betty looks down a couple tears trickle down her face

"ahh thanks i guess" Betty whispers

"wow kid that's a lot" Tony says just as he says that Betty's phone rings she looks at and smiles

"hey V what's up"

"just checking in and..."

"V what's wrong you sound upset"

"B Archie is a free man i cleared him i found evidence on my Mum's computer"

"that's great V I'll have to tell him to come to New York but what makes you so sad Archie is no longer a fugitive"

"B him and Jug ran away he.....he said its not safe for me if he stays i-i don't know what to do"

"V I'll talk to Archie and Jug but are you gonna be okay?"

"i.....i don't know B im so worried what if my dad finds him"

"V Jug is smart he will keep Arch safe from your Dad"

"i guess"

"ok V I've got to go let me know if you need anything"

"ok by B love you"

"bye V love you too" *hangs up*

Betty glances up "your were keeping a fugitive too from an evil dad" Bruce says Riverdale was obviously a lot to take in "Hiram Lodge my best friends dad framed my chilled hood bestie for murder" Betty says she looked over at them at first they thought she was joking but her face was all to serious.

"alright all the tests are done now we just have to see your powers" Tony says she looks up at them scared she was shaking a bit witch they noticed "were avengers its pretty hard to hurt us" she nods she gets up and focuses on the darkness suddenly her skin goes pale her gains turn dark and her eyes to black smoke c ones out of her eyes and hands although it wasn't just smoke it was much, much darker she smiles and shoots smoke at tony pushing him over "opps *giggles* well i did warn you" she says with a devilish smirk she then shoots another one at Tony just as he summoned his suit Bruce grabbed an injection stabbing into her necks while Tony held her down she turned back to her normal glow and asleep they placed her on the bed "should we contain it or should train her?" Tony asked Bruce stepping out of his suit looking over Betty he wonders how such a innocent looking girl could have so much darkness "well i think we should train her she just needs to connect with this darkness alter ego" Bruce says he felt sympathy for her she is too in the situation he was many years ago with the hulk Tony nodded "how should we approach this?" Tony asks

"i think she needs to communicate with this other part of herself" Bruce suggests examining her carefully "and how do we do that?" Tony asks looking over at Bruce

"i think we should put her in a contained room until they manage to communicate but we should talk to Betty about this when she wakes up" Tony nods and they wait for her to awake.
