After everything that has happened today I really needed to talk to Karen. She understands me better then anyone so I skyped her and as usual she answered right away. She was recording another song on her barely working laptop. She loves singing and playing guitar for fun. I told her about my big change but my change was not the change. She was acting different. Really different. She sounded funny and her laugh was weird. She told me she made new friends behind her house and let her try something. I couldn't believe it I knew she was always alittle rebellious she argued with her mom a lot but this was different. Drugs? This was so below her. I told her she was stupid... She could get in so much trouble and she called me a goodie goodie. This was just not Karen not the one I knew so I told her to go to sleep and she called me a party pooper and then she hung up on me. Now I cannot sleep! All I can think about is what Karen has done and now I have to decide if I should tell or not but I don't. It could be a joke she could be playing. So I call Marcus and tell him everything and he couldn't believe it. He was shocked and really disappointed in Karen almost more then I was. We decided we would wait until the morning and then we would confront her about it all. I woke up super early the next morning after a night of tossing and turning. I called Marcus and since he has his permit he came and picked me up so I didn't have to take the stupid bus. We went over how we were going to approach the situation and exactly what to say. Then this car came zooming fast us it was rusty with cheap rims and big tires and the engine made it sound like a broken rocket. Karen jumped out of the car and blew a kiss to whomever was in the car. Then she started spinning and singing weird lyrics that sounds like complete gibberish. Marcus and I could not believe our eyes she had on heels and red lipstick and when I say red I mean eye popping red. We quickly parked In Marcuses special parking spot and rushed over to her I grabbed her arm and pulled her towards me. I forcefully said what is wrong with you are you mental and she said oh sorry mom I won't do it again and then she chuckled. So apparently a caring friend is funny. She told me to go away and she said I don't need you anymore you and Marcus were never true friends anyways I have real friends now. And she through her half of our friendship necklace to the ground and it shattered. It was a treble clef and a bass clef. Our notes for the instruments we play. It broke my heart to see it break like our friendship. Marcus looked furious and as Karen was walking away he yelled you know you don't mean it you tad just out of it because of what you did now come back and apologize. She just turned around and stuck her middle finger at both of us and said Karen is gone. It's Karie now.
