I could not sleep last night at all because Marcus kept coming into my room telling me he couldn't sleep so therefore I couldn't sleep. Ugh. So I finally decided to actually get up at 6:30 to get ready for school. West Lincoln Points time is awesome and annoying. My school is a middle school and a high school so we get high school time. Anyways I ended up just throwing on my UFC fight gear jacket and a pair of faded skinny jeans. I quickly fish tailed my hair to the side. Then I hurried to the guest room to make sure Marcus is ready because we were going to miss the bus if we didn't hurry. We could have drove my moms car but because both of us only have our permits it's too risky. I will skip the terrible details of the bumpy bus ride. When we finally got to school we both looked dead. I was half asleep he had frosting all over his face from his pop tart. I made sure I woke up really quick when I saw Cole. I figured he would at least wave at me but he didn't say a word he just walked right past me. Marcus noticed and Marcus wanted to say something but I told him not to. I don't know why Cole would just ignore me like that. Then Coles friend comes walking towards me and says "Cole wants to know if you would like to go to the movies with him after school today." I could not believe my ears. So of course I said yes. Omg I am going on a date with Cole. I cannot believe it. Marcus was jumping up and down and laughing. I was going to go on my first date! I texted Anna and Sophie and I told them to meet me at our standing place in the hall by the door. They came right away. They jumped up and down too. Then Sophie said "You have to go talk to him figure out what time he is picking you up and what movie theatre you are going to." Then Anna said " And don't forget to ask if you can bring a +1. Anna has always had a crush on Cole so I just want to make sure I am not being a bad friend. We have talked about it a gazillion times and she always says she is jealous but she is happy for me. See how good of a friend she is to me. I got super nervous as I started walking to Cole. Then I saw he had his hand on Elaine's cheek and they were standing very close to each other. He was definitely about to kiss her. So I turned around and walked back to my friends holding back tears and trying to keep the dignity I have left. There was no way I was going on Coles stupid date anymore. Ever! Sophie saw how upset I was and she barged over to Cole and Elaine and their friends and yelled forcefully "Skye would never ever ever go on a date with you, you stupid player, you don't even notice her then you go kiss another girl what is wrong with you, you are a mega jerk so leave Skye alone." Then she walked off flawlessly with no expression at all she was confident of what she had just said. Anna and Marcus and I gave her a high five and I hugged her for backing me up. Who needs Cole anyways when you have a couple of awesome friends right!
