The Alphas Son

Chapter 14

--Olivia's POV--

"Oh nothing, I was just going to ask you why it is you didn't tell me I had a son?" He said my eyes were wide.

"I don't know what you are talking about," I said he chuckled lowly

"I know you know what I'm talking about Olivia. The son who is laughing and playing with that hybrid over there." He said pointing behind him. 

"How do you know? How did you find out?"I asked him.

"I had this feeling like something was off, I felt this weird pain in my heart every day and my wolf wouldn't stop whining, I had a witch friend of mine figure out the problem and she told me that I had a wolf cub out there somewhere. It took me a while, but I finally figured out who could possibly have had my child without me knowing. She tracked the cub and guess who it led me too?" He said.

"Why does it matter so much to you anyway?" I asked him

"He's my son Olivia, do you think I wouldn't care about him? Do you think that I would never find him, or him me?" He asked angrily. 

"You didn't want to know about him when I tried to tell you. So don't go making me a bad guy. You were too busy trying to get with some other girl to just sit for one second so I could talk to you about it. I didn't matter to you, so I guessed he wouldn't matter to you either." I said in just as angry a tone. I felt eyes on us and saw Elias, Rose, and Emily watching us. 

"Look I'm sorry for that, but you should have told me. I realized I made  a mistake when you left. Look I didn't want to hurt you." He said stepping closer to me. 

"But you did. You knew I didn't want to let anyone in, but I trusted you. But you just used me, and when I wasn't good enough you threw me to the side." I said tears in my eyes. He pulled me in for a hug. I didn't stop him. 

"I'm sorry. Okay, I'm sorry. I can't take back what an idiot I was, but I can try to do better for our son." He said I cried into his chest. He was a weakness for me, someone who I would always go back to no matter what. I hated how much he did this to me, but I still loved him for some stupid reason. 

"Momma!" Jonah yelled as he ran towards us. I looked up and saw that Elias was gone. I looked at Rose and Emily they shook their heads. I sighed as I picked Jonah up. 

"Hi, baby," I said smiling at him, he frowned seeing my face.

"What wrong momma?" He asked me I smiled.

"Nothing baby," I said he placed his little hand on my cheek and I laughed. Matthew cleared his throat. We both turned to him.

"You going to introduce me?" He asked I rolled my eyes

"Hey baby, this here is your daddy. His name is Matthew." I said Jonah looked him up and down, then put his arms out for Matt to take. I nodded for him to go ahead, and he grabbed him.

"Hi, buddy. How are you." Matt asked.

'Why are we letting him back into our lives?' Jade my wolf said to me.

'relax, I never said I was letting him back into my life. He wants to meet his son who am I to stop him." I explain to her she scoffed and left me alone.  I just wanted to know if Elias was okay, he did rush out of here pretty quickly.

"How about you go and play with daddy on the playground?" I asked Jonah he nodded. and they headed for the playground. I walked to the girls.

"Wait, you didn't tell me Matthew was a fox," Emily said I rolled my eyes.

"What happened with Elias?" I asked Rose.

"Something came up, I don't think it's good. He was in an intense phone conversation with someone. He looked pissed off too. I think something bad happened I don't really know the details." She explained. I nodded. I was glad my reunion with Matt wasn't the cause of him leaving.

"So you giving him a chance?"  Emily asked

"I don't know, he just appeared out of nowhere it doesn't mean I'm going to just let him in so quickly." I explained they nodded. Eventually, the kids got tired, so we headed home. Matthew informed me that he would be in town for a while and he wanted to spend as much time with his son as he could before he left. We arranged for some playtime between them so Jonah could get to know his father, plus it would be nice to have a day to myself. I just couldn't help but wonder about Elias.

--Elias' POV--

I wanted to stay at the park to make sure that Matthew guy didn't do anything to Olivia, but he seemed harmless as far as I could tell. I just hated how Liv just went back to him like he didn't hurt her. But it was up to her how she felt for him. I just wished I didn't have to leave. My brother had just informed me, that our father as attacked, and was nearly killed. I had to go back home to check if he was okay. 

When I got there, I went straight to his room. He was laying in bed weak, he was in bad condition. I looked at my mother who was sitting beside him.

"Is he alright?" I asked my mother

"He will be." She said. 

"How did this happen?" I asked her.

"Someone stabbed him with a demon blade. Nearly missing his heart. If it was any higher, it would have killed him. He has been poisoned by the blade, but it was pulled out before it could really hurt him." My brother explained as he walked in.

"Who would do something like this? They should know better than to mess with the royal vampire family." I said angrily that someone nearly killed my father.

"He said his name was Julius, and he was sending you a warning." My mother said. My anger just went through the roof. Julius messed with the wrong guy's family.
